DUBLIN, FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 1874. SCOTTISH POLICE. £ 20 REWARD. WANTED, on a Warrant, charging him with having stolen a considerable sum of money from the Savings Bank in Hawick, Andrew Scott, lately an accountant in Hawick. The accused is a native of Hawick, 85 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches in height, fair hair, light gray eyes, fresh complexion, whiskers fair and thin on chceks and allowed to grow under chin ; has marks of ulcers or running sores on neck; has short and badly formed feet, and one of them ( supposed the right) is drawn up at heel, causing him to walk on his toes and limp slightly. The accused, who is of dissipated habits and much addicted to drink, was dressed in a dark tweed suit and black felt hat when he absconded. A reward of £ 10 is hereby offered in the name of the Sheriff of Roxburgh, Berwick and Selkirk, to any person who shall give such information to the Procurator- Fiscal of the county as shall lead to the apprehension of the accused; and a further reward of £ 10 is also offered by the trustees of the said bank, payable on apprehension as aforesaid. DESCRIPTION of the under- named boy, who, on the morning of 15th September, 1874, absconded from the St. Nicholas Industrial School at Cork :— Henry Samuel Walsh ( No. 27), 15 years and 9 months old, 4" feet5 inches high at admission in 1871, slight make, dark complexion, dark brown hair, brown eyes, straight nose, mouth almost always open, very queer- looking visage, somewhat like an African; mark of a burn near his ear; formerly belonged to Dublin ; his parents are dead. The school dress, all with Industrial School stamp, innsists of— Irish frieze jacket, gray worsted stock- cogs, boots laced up in front. This boy was sent out of several schools in Dublin. The Manager of the Industrial School will defray the expense of his conveyance, if arrested, to the nearest Justice, on remand. DESCRIPTION of the undernamed boy, who, on the morning of 15th September, 1874, absconded from the St. Nicholas Industrial School at Cork :— James Fulton ( No. 85), 15 years of age, 5 feet 1 inch high, slight make, fair complexion, light brown hair, blue eyes, straight nose, rather thin lips, pleasant looking visage; formerly belonged to Moy, county Tyrone; his mother and step- father reside at Moy The school dress, all with Industrial School stamp, consists of— tweed ceat, gray worsted stockings, machine- made boots, laced up in front. This boy walked all the way from the north ot Ireland, and it is suspected that he has tried to go back there. The Manager of the Industrial School will defray the expense of his conveyance, if arrested, to the nearest Justice, on remand. DESCRIPTION of 3 persons, names unknown, who stand charged with having, on the 29th August, 1874, in the barony of Duhallow, parish of Clonfert, robbed Mary Nunan of two £ 1 notes:— 1. Unknown— Three blue letters on left wrist; long face, slight make, 6 feet 10 inches high, about 23 years of age; wore a soft black hat, dark cord jacket and trowsers. 2. DKSORTPTION of John O'Neill, native of Cork, who stands charged with having, on the 20th day of September, 1874, in the barony of Tirkennedy, parish of Enniskillen, broken open a box, the property of Peter M'Aloon, in a lodging- house in the town of Enniskillon, and stolen therefrom ten and one half sovereigns and a vest:— Gray tender eyes, regular nose, dark complexion, regular face, stout make, 5 feet 6 inches high, about 30 years of age, dark brown hair; wore a blue cloth shooting coat bound with braid, two pairs of trowsers— one dark Btriped tweed ( figures 12 on waistband), the other dark tweed— and dark tweed vest; had a carpet travelling- bag, letter V on outside of bottom, in which he put his clothing, & c., and some papers with designs for painting, he being a painter by trade. ( 3345 c.— 0110.) DESCRIPTION of articles of wearing apparel found in possession of Thomas Minogue, and supposed to have been stolen in Tipperary, S. B., or counties of Kilkenny or Waterford :— A dark tweed shooting jacket, 3 buttons down front, left back button missing, dark lining ; soiled " Dux," half- turned- down collar in right- hand side- pocket. A pair of striped trowsers coarse material of blue black and white, with narrow black stripe down sides, lined with unbleached calico, flowered cotton lining inside waistband, 3 black buttons on fly, 1 missing; braces attached, scarlet and white mixed, stripe down centre. A tweed waistcoat with narrow speckled orange stripes, 5 buttons ; hobnail and match in left pocket, brass brooch in right with two pink glass imitation stones in setting. A shirt, coarse printed calico, buff with broad gray and white stripes an inch apart, un- bleached calico lining at back of neck and shoulders. Three made- up " Baronet" scarves— 1 black, with broad stripes of orange, lake, mauve and black, diagonal— 2 black, with broad white and black stripes, diagonal, both apparently new; 3white, with narrow black and straw- coloured stripe, diagonal. The school dress, all with Reformatory stamp, consists of— corduroy trowsers, vest and tunic, leather belt, Scotch cap, nailed boots. The Manager of the Reformatory will defray the expense of his conveyance, if arrested, to the nearest Justice, on remand, and'will reward the person who may capture him with £ 2.
