No Description can bo inserted unless an Information shall have been Sworn; but it is not necessary to forward the Informations to the Injector- General. As the Law ( 48 Geo. 3, c. 140, s. 44,) only permits the insertion of Notices respecting Folonies, no other description of Notice can be inserted in the Hue- and- Cry. DUBLIN, TUESDAY, AUGUST 4, 1874. SCOTTISH POLICE. £ 50 REWARD. STOLEN, in Edinburgh, on 28th July, 1874, the following articles of jewellery, value about £ 350:— A pair of gold earrings, set with large diamonds, with appendages forming a star; a gold locket, about inches in diameter, set with diamonds, forming a large star to correspond with earrings; a gold bracelet, set with diamonds, one of them wanting in centre, made to hold a portrait in back ; a plain gold bracelet, about inches broad, with engraving in centre; a pair of plain gold earrings, torquoise stono in centre, set with four white pearls; a silver pencil- case, gold- plated, about 3 inches long; a pasteboard box, 8 inches long by 3 inches broad, with painting of two roses OD top. Police officers and others are requested to mako particular search for the above- described property, and, if any trace is obtained, information to be sent to Mr. Johnston, Procurator- Fiscal, City Chambers, or to the Superintendent of Police, Edinburgh. WHEREAS it has been represented to the Lord Lieutenant, that, on the night of the 23rd July, 1874, Thomas Fleming and Alice Fleming, his wife, were both brutally murdered at Curraghmore, near Mitchelstown, in the county of Cork: His Grace the Duke of Abercorn, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the perpetrators of this murder, is pleased hereby to1 offer a reward of ONE HUNDRED POUNDS ' o any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information to the Resident Magistrate or Constabulary as shall lead to the arrest of the person or persons who com mitted the same. By His Grace"' s Command, T, H. BORKE. The above reward will be paid, on conviction, by Richard J. Eaton, esq., the Resident Magistrate at Mitchelstown, to those who may become entitled to it under the conditions of this Proclamation.
