All Notices intended for insertion in the Hue- and- Cry, are to be transmitted under cover addressed to the Inspector- General of Constabulal f. No Description can be inserted unless an Information shall have been Sworn; but it is not necessary to forward the Informations to the Inspector- General. As the Law ( 48 Geo. 3, c. 140, s. 44,) only permits the insertion of Notices respecting Felonies, no other description of Notice can be inserted it the Hue- and- Cry. DUBLIN, TUESDAY. JULY 28, 1874. DESCRIPTION of James Costello, native of Galway* who stands charged with having, on the 21st July 1874, in the barony of Loughrea parish of Loughrea' absconded with the sum of £ 3 2s. 6d, the property of his master, Mr. Robert Silk, of Loughrea, whose horse and cart he left in the town of Galway, where he was sent to purchase goods on the 20th July, 1874:— Stooped shoulders; gray eyes, regular nose, sallow complexion, regular face, medium make, 5 feet 5 inches high, about 42 years of age, fair hair; wore a jerry hat, old blue coat, gray trowsers and vest. DESCRIPTION of Bartley Mannion, native of Ros- muck, who stands charged with having, on the 19th day of July, 1874, in the barony of Ross and parish of Ross, absconded from the service of Michael O'Toole, of Maam, and did unlawfully take 6s. 3d., the property of the said Michael O'Toole, from a letter intrusted to his care to deliver, also fraudu- lently obtained a further sum of £ 3, on 18th instant, in the name of his master, from a Mrs. Varily, of Carnamona, which he took with him :— Has a swaggering gait, turns out his toes, and leans much on his heels; gray eyes, regular nose, sallow complexion, round face, slender make, 5 feet 5 inches high, about 17 years of age, brown hair; wore a low black hat, moleskin jacket and trowsers. DESCRIPTION of John Dolan, native of Leixlip, co Kildare, who stands charged with having, on the 9th July, 1874, in the barony of Dunboyne, parish of Dunboyne, unlawfully sold and absconded with the price of 10 sheep, the property of Edward Mahon, of Glencree, county Wicklow, by whom he had been employed to drive them from Dunboyne fair, county Meath, to Blakestown, county Kildare, on the 9th July, 1874:— Walks with a swagger; gray eyes, ordinary nose, sallow complexion, round full face, stout make, 5 feet 4 inches nigh, about 28 years of age, brown hair, wears all his beard which is short and thin; wore a black cap, dark coat, trowsers and vest. DESCRIPTION of Joseph Davis, native of Lichfield, England, who has been missing since the 11th inst., from the town of Omagh, barony of East Omagh, and parish of Drumragh, under suspicious circum- stances of having been murdered :— Sharp features, round shouldtrs; dark eyes, regular nose, sallow com- plexion, flushed face, medium make, 6 feet 6 inches high, about 56 years of age, brown hair tinged with gray; wore a dark gray tweed coat, tweed trowsers, dark gray tweed vest. He was a tinsmith and plumber. The person last seen in his company is in custody. Inquiry to be made, and any information dis- covered to be sent to the Constabulary at Omagh. Omagh, July 20, 1874.
