DESCRIPTION of three persons, names unknown, supposed to be natives of the county of Galway, who stand charged with having, on the i 6th July, 1874, on the public road at Loughill, in the barony of Tiaquin, parish of Moylough, assaulted Martin Devane, and demanded of him an oil- cloth cover which he had over bread on an ass's dray:— 1. Unknown— Regular nose, fair complexion, full face, medium make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 60 years of age; wore a low black hat, dark coat, gray trowsers, dark vest. 2. Unknown— Regular nose, pale complexion, regular face, medium make, 5 feet 5 or 6 inches high, about 20 years of age; wore a low black hat, dark coat, trowsers and vest. 8. Unknown— Slightly pockpitted; wore a bandage round the wrist of right arm, ; regular nose, pale com- pleiion, regular face, sl'ght make, 5 feet 6 inches high, 20 to 22 years of age; wore a low black hat, dark coat, trowsers and vest. Had with them three black asses and carts, with boxes on the carts, and are supposed to attend fairs, races, & c., selling gingerbread. WHEREAS it has been represented to the Lords Justices, that, at the hour of half- past 8 o'clock, on the afternoon of the 2nd instant, the body of John Stapleton, herd to J. Griffith, esq., J. P., of Aghsmear, Roscrea, county of Tipperary, was found in a field at Clashegad, in the King's county, he having been murdered by some person or persons at [ present un- known : Their Excellencies, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the perpetrators of this outrage, are pleased hereby to offer a reward of TWO HUNDRED POUNDS to any persm or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the person or persons who committed the same. By Their Excellencies' command, T. H. BURKE. The above reward will be paid, on conviction, by John Fleming, esq., the Resident Magistrate at Ncnagh, to those who may become entitled to it under the conditions of this Proclamation. DESCRIPTION of John Scullion, native of Bellaghy, and Martha M'Ilhatton, native of Drumanee, who stand charged with having, on the 17th March, 1874, in the barony of Loughinsholin, parish of Ballyscullion, formed part of a riotous and unlawful assembly who wrecked the houses of several persons, for which offence they were returned for trial ot the next Londonderry Assizes, but have failed to give bail for htir appearance:— 1. John Scullion— Brown eyes, regu'ar nose, fresh complexion, thick lips, round full face, very stout make, 6 feet high, about 80 years of age, dark brown hair and sandy beard; wore a dark tweed coat, trowsers and vest; is a blacksmith by trade. 2.
