SCOTTISH POLICE. WANTED, on a charge of fraud, Thomas Davidson, lately a wool merchant, in Hawick, in the county of Roxburgh. He is 27 years of age, 6 feet 6 inches in height, reddish hair, thin and straight, red whiskors and moustache, florid complexion, face long and slightly pimpled, slender make, knock- kneed; always smartly dressed. DESCRIPTION of Cornelius Quilligan, native of Ballybrack, who stands charged with having, on the 4th day of July, 1874, in the barony of Tulla Lower, parish of O'Briensbridge, stolen 3 two- year- old heifers, 4 yearling heifers, 4 two- year- old bullocks, and 1 yearling bullock, the property of his brother Patrick Quilligan :— Fresh cut on nose; gray eyes, regular ' nose, fair complexion, tbin face, medium make, 5 feet 8 or 9 inches high, about 33 years of age, sandy hair; wore a cloth frock coat, dark trowsers and vest. DESCRIPTION of Michael Cullinan, native of Gorta- glough, who stands charged with having, on the 6th of July, 1874, in the barony of Inchiquin, parish of Inagh, maliciously set fire to the dwelling- house of his mother Margaret Cullinan, and stabbed her and his brother John Cullinan, with a hay fork, to prevent their exit from the burning premises:— Has rather downcast look, smart appearance, regular nose a little hollow between the eyes; small blue eyes, regular nose, fresh florid complexion, long face, stout make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 28 years of age, fair hair, small fair whiskers inclining to auburn, a little beard under chin ; wore a gray frieze frock coat, old tweed trowsers and vest. DESCRIPTION of Bartholomew Curran, native of Kinsale, who stands charged with having, on the night of the 8th instant, in the barony of Kinsale, parish of Kinsale, indecently assaulted a certain female with intent to violate " her person:— Nose slightly pockpitted; gray eyes, veiy large nose, swarthy complexion, long face, stout make, 6 feet 2 inches high, about 25 years of age, dark hair; wore a gray tweed coat, dark tweed trowsers, tweed vest. DESCRIPTION of a man, name and native place un- known, who stands charged with having, on the night of the 3rd July, 1874, in the barony of Duhallow, parish of Kilmeen, broken into a dwelling- house, and stolen wearing apparel therefrom:— Gray eyes, drooped nose, dark complexion, long thin face, regular make, 6 feet 9 inches high, about 30 years of age, fair hair ; wore an old gray tweed frock coat, striped trowsers, tweed vest. John Catchpoole, native of Newmarket, county of Cork, stands charged with having, within the past two months, in the barony of Imokilly, parish of St. Mary, feloniously procured and supplied to a woman, a certain noxious drug with the intent to procure her miscarriage— she being at the time with child. The accused failed to attend at Youghal Petty Sessions on 25th inst., as by recognizance bound to do, in answer to this charge; was seen in Cork city on 23rd inst., and will > f possible emigrate. DESCRIPTION of the under- named young offender, who, on the afternoon of 10th July, 1874, absconded from the Rehoboth- place Reformatory School, Dublin:— John Magee, No. 104, about 17 years of age, 5 feet 5 inches high, stout make, sallow complexion, brown hair ( cut short), brown eyes ( looks down), large nose, round visage; formerly belonged to Carlow Graigue, Carlow town; his parents reside at Graigue, Carlow; an old cut between left eye and ear. The school dress, all with Reformatory stamp, consists of— light cord trowsers and vest, light cord tunic with calico sleeves, blay calico shirt, chip hat, strong nailed boots. This boy will be likely to enlist, or may try to get on one of the Grand Canal boats, as he is acquainted with some of the boatmen; has no friends in Dublin. The Manager of the Reformatory will defray the expense of his conveyance, if arrested, to the nearest Justice, on remand, and will reward the person who may capture him with £ 2. DESCRIPTION of Patrick Diamond, native of Bally- nian, who stands charged with having, on the 17th March, 1874, in the barony of Loughinsholin, parish of Kilrea, been one of a riotous and unlawful as- sembly at Kilrea, for which offence he was summoned to Kilrea Petty Sessions, and has failed to appear thereat:— Freckled face ; blue or gray eyes, ordinary nose, fresh complexion, medium make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 37 years of age, light reddish hair, red whiskers worn under chin. DESCRIPTION of John Scullion, native of Bellaghy, and Martha M'Ilhatton, nativeof Drumanee, who stand charged with having, on the 17th March, 1874, in the barony of Loughinsholin, parish of Ballyscullion, formed part of a riotous and unlawful assembly who wrecked the houses of several persons, for which offence they were returned for trial ot the next Londonderry Assizes, but have failed to give bail for heir appearance:— 1. John Scullion— Brown eyes, regular nose, fresh complexion, thick lips, round full face, very stout make, 6 feet high, about 80 years of age, dark brown hair and sandy beard; wore a dark tweed coat, trowsers and vest; is a blacksmith by trade. 2. DESCRIPTION of William Ross, native of Ballina- muck, who stands charged with having, on the 6th day of July, 1874, in the barony of Longford, parish of Killoe, and county of Longford, seriously assaulted Michael Cassedy, by kicking him in the abdomen, from the effects of which he died on the 8th instant:— Right leg lowed at the Jcne*, caused by a fracture ; holds his head to one side, has a peculiar expres- sion about the eyes ; regular nose, sallow complexion, long face, stout make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 40 years of age, very black hair; wore a low hat, gray frieze coat, dark trowsers, frieze vest. Who have not reported themselves, as required by " The Prevention of Crimes Act, 1871," and who are liable, on conviction, to 12 months' imprisonment. I. Sub- Inspectors are to report without delay to " The Registrar of Habitual Criminals, Dublin Castlethe names and descriptions of all persons under supervision reporting themselves in their respective Districts. II.
