STOLEN, on or since the 2nd instant, whilst in transit between London and Coventry by passenger train of the London and North- Western Railway, a box, containing 3 gold watches forwarded by Messrs. Silber and Fleming, Cheapside, London, to Mr. P. Cohon. watch manufacturer, Coventry, viz:— 2 gentlemen's gold keyless hunting lever watches, whito enamel dials, sunk seconds, jewelled in 8 holes, chronometor balance, open at back, cases plain polished, Nos. 5050 and 68649. The other, a gentle- man's gold keyloss volunteer or sight hunting lever watch, blue enamelled figures on case, white enamel dial, sunk seconds, jewelled in 8 holes, chronometer balance, No. 8707. DESCRIPTION of Michael Cullinan, native of Gorta- glough, who stands charged with having, on the 6th of July, 1874, in the barony of Inchiquin, parish of Inagh, maliciously set fire to the dwelling- house of his mother Margaret Cullinan, and stabbed her and his brother John Cullinan, with a hay fork, to prevent their exit from the burning premises:— Has rather downcast look, smart appearance, regular nose a little hallow between the eyes ; small blue eyes, regular nose, fresh florid complexion, long face, stout make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 28 years of age, fair hair, small fair whiskers inclining to auburn, a little beard under chin ; wore a pray frieze frock coat, old tweed trowsers and vest. John Catchpoole', native of Newmarket, county of Cork, stands charged with having, within the past two months, in the barony of Imokilly, parish of St. Mary, feloniously procured and supplied to a woman, a certain noxious drug with the intent to procure her miscarriage— she being at the time with child. The accused failed to attend at Youghal Petty Sessions on 25th inst., as by recognizance, bound to do, in answer to this charge; was seen in Cork city on 23rd inst., and will if possible emigrate.
