DESCRIPTION of Ann Cain, wife of John Cain, formerly of Willington, in the county of Durham, coal miner, charged under Warrant for perjury at the Assises for the county of Durham, on the 11th of July, 1878 :— She is between 30 and 40 years of age, about 5 feet 3 inches in height, dark complexioned, has a sullen downcast look, turned- up nose, rather stout built, and speaks with a broad Irish accent. Whon last heard of, was living with one James Smith, a labourer, in a brickyard at Howden, near Crook, in the said county, and it is assumed he left for Ireland. The above reward will be paid to any person giving such information as shall lead to the appre- hension of the said Ann Cain, on application to James Wilson, Chief Constable of the Durham City Police, or to Messrs.
