DESCRIPTION of Patrick Healy, native ( f Gurrane Redmond, who stands charged with having, on the 1st day of June, 1874, in the barony of East Muskerry, parish of Donaghmore, inflicted a wound on tbc head of John Sullivan, by striking him with a spade and fracturing his skull, thereby placing his life in danger:— Long neck ; is in the habit of stooping his head when walking ; 18 years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, stout make, pale completion, dark eyes, very long nose, dark hair; wore a dark frieze coat, l'ght cord trowsers, dark vest. DESCRIPTIVE particulars of licensed convict Samuel Robinson, ( No. 13,413,) who has broken the con- ditions of his licence in omitting to report himself to the Dublin Metropolitan Police on change of residence:— Convicted at Hillsborough, county Down, at Trinity Sessions, on 22i. d June, 1868, for sheep- stealing, and sentenced to 7 years' penal servitude; 25 years of age on conviction, can read and write, is a Unitarian, married; by trade a shoemaker and labourer, prison trade the same; born at Bally- hempton. Larne; resided before conviction in Belfast; his friends reside near Larne; brown hair, hazel eyes, brown eyebrows, regular hooked nose, regular mouth, dark complexion, oval visage, stout make, 6 feet 5{ inches high ; wants two upper and one lower front teeth ; a slight cut on upper lip. The above- named convict was released from Spik: Island Prison, on an order of licence, on the 10th February, 1874. This convict has not reported himself to the Dublin Metropoli an P, lice, at the Police Office, Exchange- court, since the 11 th February last, and he cannot be traced at the address he then gave, and is said to have left the country. In the event of his arrest, he should be dealt with under the 5 th section of the Prevention of Crimes Act, 1871, 27 and 23 Vic., cap. 112. Government Prisons Office, Dublin Castle, June 12, 1874. DESCRIPTIVE particulars of licensed convict Charles Howard, ( No. 2,263,) who has broken the conditions of his licence in omittiog to report himself to the Dublin Metropolitan Police on change of residence:— Convicted at Dublin, at April Sessions, on 26th April, 1870, for larceny from person, and sentenced to 5 years' penal servitude; 32 years of age on con- viction, can read and write, is a Roman Catholic, single; by trade a tailor; born at Southampton; resided before conviction in Meath- street, Dublin; his friends reside in America; sandy hair, gray eyes, fair eyebrows, prominent nose, regular mouth, fair complexion, oval visage, average make, 5 feet 3J inches high ; a small cut and wart on front of ncck. The above- named convict was released from Lusk Prison, on a order of licence, on 25th April, 1874. This convict failed to report himself at the Police Office, Exchange- court, Dublin, since the 25th April last, and cannot be heard of at his late residence. DESCRIPTION of Michael M'Grath, of no certain . residence, who stands charged with having, on the 12 th instant, at Brosna, in thebarony of Trughanacmy, parish of Brosna, in his possession the sum of £ 26 13i. 3d., a silver lever watch and gold chain, for which he could nbt satisfactorily account:— Mark of cut on forehead; hazel eyes, regular nose, very black conpkxion, long face, stout make, 5 feet inches high, from 32 to 37 years of age, very black hair; wore a Jim Crow hat, brown tweed eoat, dark tweed trowsers and vest same as coat, high- low boots. DESCRIPTION of James Finan, Edward M'Guinness, and James M'Hugh, natives of Cappagh, who, in con- junction with James and Michael Gallagher ( since surrendered), stand charged with having, on tho 29th May, 1874, in the barony of Leyny, parish of Killoran, committed a grievous assault on Hugh Bowie, of Cappagh, whereby his life has been placed in danger:— 1. James Finan— Mark of an old cut on first finger of right hand; blue eyes, regular noso, fair complexion, full face, stout make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 21 years of age. 2. Edward M'Guinness— Stooped shoulders; gray eyes, cocked nose, fresh complexion, large mouth, slight make, 5 feet 9 inches high, about 21 years of age. 3. James M'Hugh— Dark eyes, regular nose, sallow complexion, thin face, stout make, 5 feet 6 inches high, about 22 years of age. Tipperary. ^ — DESCRIPTION of Patrick Dooley, native of Foxboro', and Thomas Ryan, native of Ballinakill, who stand charged with having, on the llth day of May, 1874, in the barony of Upper Ormond, parish of Aghna meadle, assaulted John Gleeson, at Park, county Tipperary, by striking him with stones on the head, and kicking him, thereby endangering his life: — 1. Patrick Dooley, fresh cut mark over right eye, and he has a large mouth, very red face; hazel eyes, regular nose, red complexion, long face, medium make, 5 feet 10 inches high, about 30 years of age, red hair ; wore ordinary country dress. 2. Thomas Ryan, stoops his head, and swings his right arm across his body in a manner which would attract attention, wears his hat rather much at the back of his head; gray eyes, regular nose, sallow com- plexion, long face, slight make, 6 feet 9 inches high, about 19 years of age ; wore ordinary country dress. These men are likely being sheltered in the mountainous parts and bogs of this and adjoining counties. Borrisoleigh, May 17, 1874. ( 1903 c.— 3520.) DESCRIPTION of John Barragry, native of Glass- drum, who stands charged with having, on the 9th May, 1874, at Glassdrum, in the barony of Kilna- managh Lower, parish of Donohill, violently assaulted Martin Ryan, from the effects of which he has since died :— High narrow shoulders, very stupid and heavy appearance, speaks with a drawl, walks with a swagger, short neck ; regular nose, fair complexion, large teeth, the eye teeth exposed, particularly when speaking; is medium make, 6 feet 6 inches high, about 21 years of age, light brown hair, no beard or whiskers; wore a dark frieze frock coat, cord trowsers, dark tweed vest; is a carpenter by trade.
