DESCRIPTION of Richard Murphy, who is charged wiih having feloniously personated another person at the late Parliamentary Elections for the borough of Dublin, held on the 6th ult :_ He is about 19 years of age, about 5 feet 7 inches high, medium make, dark complexion and dark hair, brown or dark colour eyes, walks erect with a smart gait, generally wears dark colour clothes, he is a grocer's assistant, and was so employed some time ago at Taghmon, county Wexford, which is his native town. Antrim; DESCRIPTION of Alexander Gordon, native of Tully- rawley, who stands charged with having, on the night of tho 21st February, at Ballywatermoy, in the barony of Lower Toome, parish of Craigs, inflicted wounds on the head of John Treacy, of Dunmining, from the effects of which he died on the 24th : Very smart active appearance, rather slender make, downcast look ; regular nose dark complexion, sharp __ facfl* 5 feet 10 or 11 inches high, about 80 years of age, darMwwc-; shaved his cheeks on a line with mouth, wore his beard from that round and under chin, no moustache ; wore a cloth cap with rough edging, moleskin jacket, cord trowsers. DESCRIPTIVE particulars of licensed convict James Harper ( 222H), who has broken the conditions of his licence in failing to report himself to the Consta- bulary of the district in Belfast where he was residing:— Convicted at Belfast, county Antrim, at Trinity / ions, on 7th July, 1868, for assault and robbery, sentenced to 7 years' penal servitude; 87 years <> i » ge on conviction, can read and write; is a Presby- iferian, married ; is a blacksmith, states he was a soldier in the 77th Regiment; born at Larne, county Antrim, resided before conviction at Belfast; dark brown hair mixed with gray, gray eyes, brown heavy eyebrows, large nose with rise on bridge, large mouth, fresh complexion, oval visage, stout make, 5 feet 7J inches high; cut- mark on nose, scrofula toarks on Jk ~ BI lef' side of neck ; D. on left breast; cut- mark over left eye ; marks of flogging on lower part of back; heart, with two spears, incased or surrounded with two flowers, tattooed on right arm. The above- named convict was released from Lusk Convict Prison, on an order of licence, on 3lst December, 1873. It appears by a report from the Constabulary, that this convict did not report himself at Peter's- hill Station, Belfast, on the 1st April, 1874, nor has he done so up to the presf nt. In the event of his arrest, he should be dealt with under the 5th section of the " Prevention of Crimes Act, 1871" ( 34 and 35 Vic., cap. 112). DESCRIPTION of Cornelius Driscoll, native of Ballinlough, who stands charged with having, on the night of the 20th inst., in the barony of East Car- bery, West Division, parish of Kilmacabea, struck Denis Driscoll a blow of a stick on the head, from the effects of which he died on the following morn- ing :— Brown eyes, regular nose, sallow complexion, i ather long face, stout make, 5 feet 7- J inches high^ about 35 years of age, dark brown hair; wore a soft round hat, blue coat and trowsers ; smart intelligent appearance; has a very keen look about the eyes, and has the appearance of a man of determination; his hair hangs about the sides of his head as if recently wetted, it is long and straight and rather thin.
