Thomas Looney ( No. 55), 11 years of age, 4 feet 4 inches high, spare make, dark complexion, dark hair, dark eyes, short nose, large mouth, imperfect visage ( right eye is blind); formerly belonged to Passage West, county Cork; his father is in New Zealand. The school dress, all with Industrial School stamp, consists of— dark tweed jacket, blue cotton stockings, Blucher boots with nails. The Manager of the Industrial School will defray the expense of his conveyance, if arrested, to the nearest Justice, on remand, and will reward the person who may capture him with f I. DESCRIPTION of English licensed ( military) convict ( No. 91) John Hurley, who has broken the con- ditions of his lictnce in failing to report himself to the Constabulary of the county Cork, where he was residing, and from which county he did not report his intention to depart:— Convicted at Cannamore, by General Court- martial, on 2nd November, 1866, for assault rn superior officer, and sentenced to 8 years' penal servitude; 27 years of age on conviction ; dark brown hair, hazel eyes, fresh complexion, 5 feet 9 inches high ; woman, bird, clock, and angel marked on breast, pnd bracelet on right and left breast. The above- named convict was released from M'll- bank Prison on the 22nd November, 1873, on an order of licence. It appears, by a report from the Constabulary, dated 17th ultimo, that this prisoner omitted to re- port himself at the Constabulary Station at Middle- ton ( where he resided) for a period of over one month. In the event of his arrest, he should be dealt with under the 5th section of the Prevention of Crimes Act, 1871,34 and 35 Vic., cap. 112. Government Prisons Office, Dublin Castle, March 4, 1874. DESCRIPTION of Cornelius Driscoll, native of Ballinlough, who stands charged with having, on the night of the 20th inst., in the barony of East Car- bery, West Division, parish of Kilmacabea, struck Denis Driscoll a blow of a stick on the head, from the effects of which he died on the following morn- ing :— Brown eyes, regular nose, sallow complexion, rather long face, stout make, 5 feet 7-£ inches high about 35 years of age, dark brown hair ; wore a soft round hat, blue coat and trowsers ; smart intelligent appearance ; has a very keen look about the eyes, and has the appearance of a man of determination ; his hair hangs about the sides of his head as if recently wetted, it is long and straight and rather thin. WHEREAS it has been represented to the Lord Lieutenant, that, at the hour of nine o'clock, on the evening of the 4th instant, John Walsh, butcher, of Askeaton, in the county of Limerick, while standing at his own door, was fired at and killed by some person or persons unknown s His Excellency, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the perpetrators of this murder, is pleased hereby to offer a reward of ONE HUNDRED POUNDS to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the conviction of the person or persons who committed the same. Fitzgerald, the accountant of the National Bank at Castlebar, when returning from Newport, in the county of Mayo, was fired at and wounded by some person or persons at present unknown, and the cash- box, containing a large sum of money, the property of the Bank, was forcibly carried off by the said person or persons : His Excellency, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the perpetrators of this outrage, is pleased hereby to offer a reward of ONE HUNDRED POUNDS to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the person or persons who committed the same; and a reward of FIFTY POUNDS to any person who shall, within the same period, give such private information as shall lead to the same result.
