DESCRIPTION of convict James Atkinson, 2210, who has broken the conditions of his licence in not reporting himself to the Constabulary :— Convicted at Lurgan, county Armagh, at Hilary Sessions, on flth January, 1868, for larceny, and sentenced to 7 years' penal servitude; 18 years of age on conviction, can read and write, is an Episcopalian, single, a tailor, prison trade a labourer; was born at Hamilstown, county Armagh; he resided before con- viction in Markethill, county Armagh; brown hair, hazel eyes, brown eyebrows, thick nose, large mouth, fresh complexion, round visage, stout make, 5 feet 2^ inches high ; cut- mark on left thumb ; two small spots, thus— on middle of back ; a brown mole on throat. The above- named convict was released from Lusk Prison, 5th April, 1873, on an order of licence. The Constabulary at Dock- street Station, Belfast, report that Atkinson, who was residing in that district since his discharge, has failed to report himself at that station, on the 1st instant. In the event of his arrest, he should be dealt with under the 5th section of the " Prevention of Crimes Act, 1871," ( 84 and 35 Vic., cap. 112). DESCRIPTION of Cornelius Driscoll, native of Ballinlough, who stands charged with having, on the night of the 20th inst., in the barony of East Car- bery, West Division, parish of Kilmacabea, struck Denis Driscoll a blow of a stick on the head, from the effects of which he died on the following morn- ing :— Brown eyes, regular nose, sallow complexion, rather long face, stout make. 5 feet 7$ inches high about 35 years of age, dark brown hair; wore a soft round hat, blue coat and trowsers ; smart intelligent appearance ; has a very keen look about the eyes, and has the appearance of a man of determination; his hair hangs about the sides of his head as if recently wetted, it is long and straight and rather thin. WHEREAS it has been represented to the Lord Lieutenant, that, at the hour of nine o'clock, on the evening of the 4th instant, John Walsh, butcher, of Askeaton, in the county of Limerick, while standing at his own door, was fired at and killed by gome person or persons unknown: His Excellency, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the perpetrators of this murder, is pleased hereby to offer a reward of ONE HUNDRED POUNDS to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the conviction of the person or persons who committed the same. By His Excellency's command, T. H. BURKE. The above reward will be paid, on conviction, by C. De Gernon, the Resident Magistrate at Rathkeale, to those who may become entitled to it under the conditions of this Proclamation. DESCRIPTION of Thomas Reale, native of Knockroe, who stands charged with having, on the 4th inst., in the barony of Coonagh, parish of Grean, fractured the skull of John Meehan, who died from the effects thereof on 6th inst. :— Very broad shoulders, slouching walk; blue eyes, long tbin nose, swarthy complexion, long face, medium make, 6 feet 1 inch high, about 24 years of age, brown hair; wore a low jerry hat, dark tweed trowsers, tweed vest. Peter Laggan, alias Todd— Stooped shoulders and awkward gait; gray eyes, regular nose, sallow complexion, long face, stout make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 23 years of age, dark hair, small dark whiskers; wore a black tweed coat, cord trowsers, sleeved vest* Magherafelt, Feb. 19, 1874. WHEREAS it has been represented to the Lord Lieutenant, that, on the evening of the 6th of January last, Mr. Richard A. Fitzgerald, the accountant of the National Bank at Castlebar, when returning from Newport, in the county of Mayo, was fired at and wounded by some person or persons at present unknown, and the cash- box, containing a large sum of money, the property of the Bank, was forcibly carried off by the said person or persons : His Excellency, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the perpetrators of this outrage, is pleased hereby to offer a reward of ONE HUNDRED POUNDS to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the person or persons who committed the same; and a reward of FIFTY POUNDS to any person who shall, within the same period, give such private information as shall lead to the same result. By His Excellency's command, T. H. BURKE. The above rewards will be paid, on conviction, by Rodolphus Harvey, esq., the Resident Magistrate at Castlebar, to those who may become entitled to them under the conditions of this Proclamation. DESCRIPTION of John M'Hale and Michael M'Hale, natives of Ballygarden, who stand charged with having, on the 28th of January, 1874, in the barony of Carra, parish of Turlough, assaulted James M'Hale, of Ballygarden, so as to endanger his life:— 1. John M'Hale— Short- sighted; gray eyes, short nose, sallow complexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 5 inches high, about 24 years of age, fair hair, no beard or whiskers; wore a frieze coat, cord trowsers. 2. Michael M'Hale— Walks as if he had a halt on right side; may have a fresh cut on face and head; gray eyes, large' nose, pale complexion, long face, stout make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 20 years of sge, fair hair; wore a flannel coat, cord trowsers.
