R., obtained money under false pretences :— Small black eyes, long nose, dark complexion, long face, slight make, 5 feet 2 inches high, about 15 years of age, black hair; wore a soft jim- crow hat, gray frieze double- breasted coat, corduroy trowsers, and Blucber boots with toe- caps. DESCRIPTION of a person, name and native place unknown, who stands charged with having, on the 4th January, at Kiskame, in the barony of Duhallow, parish of Kilmeen, arms in his possession, that being a proclaimed district, and effecting his cscape from the custody of the Boherbue Police, and taking on him a pair of handcuffs :— Thick- set man, short neck, high cheekbones s brown eyes, cocked nose, dark complexion, stout make, 5 feet 5^ inches high, about 25 years of age, dark hair; wore an old dark blue frock coat, old brown trowsers, old highlow shoes, ragged appearance ; calls himself " Rory of the hills." DESCRIPTION of Cornelius Driscoll, native of Ballinlough, who stands charged with having, on the night of the 20th inst., in the barony of East Car- hery, West Division, parish of Kilmacabea, struck Denis Driscoll a blow of a stick on the head, from the effects of which he died on the following morn- ing :— Brown eyes, regular nose, sallow complexion, rather long face, stout make, 5 feet 7^ inches high, about 35 years of age, dark brown hair; wore a soft round hat, blue coat and trowsers; smart intelligent appearance; has a very keen look about the eyes, and has the appearance of a man of determination; his hair hangs about the sides of his head as if recently wetted, it is long and straight and rather thin.
