INFORMATIONS ARSON AND WILFUL BURNING Description of JAMES McSHARRY, a seaman, charged with setting fiie to a rick ot Straw at Hartlebury, near Stour- port, on the 26th uliimo. in company with another tramp, named WILLIAM PAGE, now in custody: McSharry is about 24 years ot age, ahout 6 feet 6 inches high, black hair, no whiskers, very dark complexion, much sunburnt, and is a native of Ireland ; diessed in a grey flannel shirt, black trousers, black cap, no shoes or stockings ; he left Birmingham on the 28' h ultimo, a d is snppn- ert to be tramping through the counties ot Warwick, Northampton, Oxford, and Bucks, for London. Absconded, ROBERT HALLEY, a native of Perthshire, a wood forester or hedger, lately residing at Chapel, in the parish of Johnstone and county of Dumfries, charged with an assault and theft : he is about 32 years of » ge, 6 feet 8 or 9 inches hiah, slender mike, dark eyes, thin sharp nose, long thin hands aud feet, very dark brown hair, long on back part of head, darn whisker^ and moustache, worn long and rough, of smart, active appearance, and walks erect ; generally dressed in a dark tweed coat and vest, and bufF- coloureil corded trousers, blucher boots, and low- crowned felt hat. Stolen from the dwelling house of Jatnes Fuller, at Hildenboro', Tunbridge, on the night of the 4th instant, by means of housebreaking : a pair of men's watertight Biots, a pair of boy's Ince- up Shoes, a pair of women's elastic- side Boots, a gieen Dress, a Sheet, a pair of boy's cotton Stockings, a nearly new white Slop, two calico Slnrts, ( one boy's, one man's), a quantity of Cheese, Cake, and 2 lbs. of uncooked Ham. Between 8 p. m. on the 31st ultimo and 8 a. m. on the 1st instant, the shop and house of Mr. John Smalley, No. 7, Penny- street, and the pawnshop of Mr. William Hirst, No. 5, Penny- street, Blackburn, were feloniously broken and entered, by a man ot the following description : 22 or 23 years of age, 6 feet 8 inches high, slender make, pale thin face, light hair, no whiskers ; dressed in rather greasy cotton cord trousers, a cap, and a coat; speaks tbe Lancashire dialect, and can be identified. The bay Mare advertised in the Police Gazette of the 8th instant, as stolen from Bury St Edmunds, has been recovered, and one JEREMIAH PLUMB, is re. atided to the 14th inst., for stealing the same.— bow- street, June 11. Supposed to have been stolen on the 7th instant, from a field at Wandon, near Rugeley, a brown Welsh horse Pony, 6 years old, about 13 hands high, tail cut square above the hocks. Supposed to have been stolen fiom a field iu Briton Ferry, on the 26th ultimo, a bay Mare, aged, from 14 to 15 hands high, collar mark on the off side, black square tail and legs, walks very close behind. Whoever will give such information to Superintendent Thomas, Constabulary Office, Neath, Gla- morgan, as will lead to the recovery of the same, shall be handsomely rewarded.— Bow- street, June 4. Stolen on the 29th ul imo, from the1 Horse and Groom' public- house, Ascot Heath, a Pony and Chaise, the property the Hon. Mrs Byng, The Lodge, Virginia Water: the pony is a brown gelding, age. J, 12 hands high, a remarkably good trotter with high action, mark on the knee and on the near flauk done with the singeing iron; the harness was partly plated and partly covered ; and the carriage is a double bodied basket, painted black picked out with green; there was no cushions in the carriage. By a man about 24 years of 8ge, 5 feet 2 or 3 inches l. igh, dark swarthy complexion, face very much freckled, and dressed in a twill waistcoat with black calico sleeves, and Imd the appearance o' a ,; room. He has been traced through Kgham and over Staines Bridge, where lie was met by two men who got into the carriage, one carried a black bag or parcel. £ 10 reward will lie paid fortheapprthen- sion and conviction of the offender and recovery of the pro- perty. R.' on handle ; a black uloth evening Suit; two black morning cloth Coats witfi Vests; a black frock Coat with silk facings : a rather worn Suit ot light grey tweed ; two pairs of light Trousers ; a pair of dark brown ditto , a light drab Overcoat ; more than a dozen white Shirts; a white flannel Shirt; and a Sheet, all marked; also a pair of regimental Trousers, new. M.', apearl handled Penknife, ditto Tweezers, two Tea Spoons, a box of Percussion Caps, and a pair of black cloth Trousers were found in his possession, all of which are supposed to he stolen.
