DESCRIPTION of Catherine Sullivan, who absconded from St. Joseph's Reformatory School, Limerick, on the 17th October last:— About 17 years of age, 4 feet 10 inches hiiih, straight slender make, pale complexion, light brown hair, gray eyes, long nose, very long mouth, short upper lip, showing her teeth, long visage. When convicted lived with prostitutes in Blarney- lane, Cork. Mother resided at Glusbh, Sneem, Kenmare, in Feb- ruary, 1861. Wore a brown cotton frock, with a small frill round the neck, made of same material as the frock, blue flannel petticoat, black woollen hair net, string shoes. WHEBEAS information has reached the Government that Patrick Ross and James Ross, charged with the murder of John Corrigan, and with firing at and wounding his wife, Mary Corrigan, near Malkagh, in the barony of Longford, and county of Longford, on the 20th April, 1862, and who have not as yet been arrested, have been concealed, and are harboured, received, and concealed, and assisted and aided in several parts of the country since the said murder: Now, His Excellency the Lord Lieutenant is pleased to offer a reward of £ 100 to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of any one whomsoever who has, since the said murder, knowingly harboured, or received, or con- cealed, or assisted or aided in any way whatever in their escape from arrest, the said Patrick Ross and James Ross. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LARCOM. The above reward will be paid, on conviction, by the Resident Magistrate at Longford. DESCRIPTION of said Pat ross and James Ross:— Patrick, 35 ypars of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, stout make, sallow complexion, thin face, gray eyes, sharp nose, cut on bis lip, brown hair; wore a gray frieze coat, cord trowsers, dark vest; wore a jim crow hat. Will try to escape to America. WHEREAS it has been represented to the Lord Lieutenant, that on the morning of the 4th instant, John Andrew Jackson, Esq., J. P, was murdered in his own Demesne, at Mount Pleasant, in the barony of Upper Ormond, and county of Tipperary, by some person or persons at present unknown. His Excellency, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the perpetrators of this murder, is pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 100 to any person, or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to tho arrest, of the, person or persons who com- mitted the same. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LARCOM. The above reward will bo paid by John Fleming, Esq., the Resident Magistrate at Nenagh, to those who may become entitled to it under the conditions of this Proclamation. DUBLIN CASTLE, September 8, 1863. WHEREAS Michael Hayes, who is charged with having murdered Mr. John Waller Braddell, on the 80th of July, 1862, in the town of Tipperary, has hitherto evaded arrest. His Excellency tho Lord Lieutenant is pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 300 to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the said Michael Hayes. And His Excellency is further pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 100 to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of any one whomsoever who has, since the said murder, knowingly harboured or received, or concealed, or assisted, or aided in a^ j^ vay whatsoever, the said Michael Hayes in his escape from arrest. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LABCOM. The above rewards will be paid by any Resident Magistrate or Officer of the Constabulary. DESCRIPTION of said Michael Hayes:— 60 years of age, 6 feet high, stout mako, dark sallow complexion, largo heavy faco, dark eyes, rather long nose, black, a little gray hair; wore a black frieze body coat, knee breeches, black stockings, Caroline hat; stooped shoulders, and a heavy slovenly gait when walking; has a down look; very heavy eyebrows, somewhat gray ; bald on the crown of tbe head, with a few stray hairs on it; several of his front teeth out; high cheek bones and sunken jaws; and altogether a remarkable and an ill- looking man. Ho may probably assume a disguise, such as a wig, moustache, false teeth, and black coat, & c. Cappamore, 3rd August, 1862. ( B. 10071— 10283.) WHEREAS, about eleven o'clock on the forenoon of the 12th ultimo, a party of poachers, consisting of three persons, unknown, and armed, appeared in pur- suit of game on the mountain of Tievebrack, in the barony of Upper Strabanc, county Tyrone, and fired four shots at the gamekeepers. I hereby offer a reward of £ 20 to any person who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of any one or more of said party. WHEREAS it has been represented to tho Lord Lieutenant, that at the hour of 9 o'clock, on the night of the 22nd ultimo, Patrick Connor was way- laid and murdered on the public road at Carrick, in the barony of Fartullagh, and county of Westmeath, by a party of persons at present unknown. His Excellency, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the perpetrators of this murder, is pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 100 to any per- son or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the person or persons who com- mitted the same. And His Excellency is also pleased to offer a free pardon to any person concerned in this outrage, other than the person or persons who actually committed the murder, in case of his giving such evidence as will lead to the conviction of the persons concerned with him in the crime. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LARCOM. The above reward will be paid by George Talbot, Esq., the Resident Magistrate at Mullingar, to those who may become entitled to it under the conditions of this Proclamation. DESCRIPTION of Denis Luram, native of Moate, who stands charged with having, on the 2nd October, 1863, in the barony of Clonlonan, parish of Kileleagh, committed an assault endangering life:— 21 years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, stout make, round faco, dark gray eyes, sbarp slightly cocked nose, straight brown hair; wore a black jerry hat, dark brown frieze shoot- ing coat, cord trowsers. DESCRIPTION of three heifers, the property of Patrick Feighery, which were stolen from tho lands of Ballina- muddagh, and barony of Clonlonan, on the night of tho 8th, or morning of the 9th November, 1863:— ]. A year and a- half old, red colour, short cockcd horns; in good condition, and value for £ 7. 2. A year and a- half old, red colour, with white spots on both sides, short horns; in good condition, and value for £ 7. 3. DESCRIPTION of Joseph Nugent, alias Murphy, native of Cullion, Mullingar, who stands charged with having, on the morning of 6th November, 1833, in tho barony of Delvin, parish of Delvin ( while a prisoner, arrested on suspicion of having committed a burglary), effected his escape from the Constabulary Barrack at Delvin :— 25 years of ago, 5 feet 10 inches high, stout make, sallow complexion, lull laco, grey eyes, regular nose, dark brown hair ; woro a grey tiveed frock coat, cord trowsers, brown tweed vest; has a red sore on left side of nock, extending under the chin ; walks slo- venly; has no fixed residenco ; and has been traced as having proceeded in the direction of Atblono.
