DESCRI PTION of the undermentioned, who, on the night of 15th August, 1863, stole a £ 100 note and a £ 50 note, of the bank of Ireland, from the person of a man, who was under the influence of drink, in this city:— Rose Byrne, about 35 years of age, low size, dark brown hair, mark of an old cut on forehead, large ordinary mouth, bad, discoloured teeth, hard features, speaks a strong northern accent, and is a prostitute. It is supposed that she has gone to Waterford or Kil- kenny, and that she has the greater portion of the money still in her possession. Information to Superin- tendent Ryan, No. 3, Exchange Court, Dublin, who holds a warrant for her arrest. 9th September, 1863. ( R. 7355.) A three- year old beifer, red colour, with cocked horns. 2. A tbree- year- old heifer, red colour, with white star on forehead, a white spot on each side, white tail, and spotted legs. 3. A three- year- old beifer, red colour, with cocked horns. 4. A three- year- old heifer, white and red spotted, drooped horns ; the top scaled off left horn. 5. DESCRIPTION of Alfred Jones, born at sea, who stands charged with having, on the 8th day of Septem- ber, at Dundrum Central Asylum, in tbe barony of Ratbdown, parish of Taney, effected his escape, he being a criminal lunatic, convicted of burglary at Cork in October, 1861 :— 25 years of age, 5/ Tej& t 1\ inches high, slight mak e, pale complexion, light hair, brown eyes, long sharp visage, regular mouth and nose; wore astiiped tweed trowsers, flannel vest. Was convicted for bur- glary, and sentenced to ten years' penal servitude. I le took with him a sheet and double blanket, branded with the letters D. L. DESCRIPTION of a watch, chain, and seal, the pro- perty of Paul Dane, esq., which was stolen ( as is sup- posed ) from his person at the Curragh, parish of Bally- sax, barony ot East Offaly, on or about the 3rd day of September, 1863:— A gold single- cased lever watch, with the initials " P. DESCRIPTION of James King, a native of Ashfield, Queen's county, who stands charged with having, on the 4th September, 1863, in the barony of Kilcullen, parish of Kilcullen, stolen from out of the house of Anne Cluxton, a sum of money amounting to £ 6 12s. 8d., viz., one £ 5 Bank of England note, ono sove- reign, ! nd aboi t 12s. 8d. in silver:— 40 years of age, 5 teet 8 inches high, slight mike, dark complexion, long thin face, long nose, black hair and whiskers; wore a tall felt bat, long blue frock coat, dark vest and trowsers. DUBLIN CASTLE, June 30, 1863. WHEBKAS information has reached the Government that Patrick Ross and James Ross, charged with the murder of John Corrigan, and with firing at and wounding his wife, Mary Corrigan, near Malkagli, in the barony of Longford, and county of Longford, on the 20th April, 1862, and who have not as yet been arrested, have been concealed, and are harboured, received, and concealed, and assisted and aided in several parts of the country since the said murder: Now, His Excellency the Lord Lieutenant is pleased to offer a reward of £ 100 to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of any one whomsoever who has, since the said murder, knowingly harboured, or received, or con- cealed, or assisted or aided in any way whatever in their escape from arrest, the said Patrick Ross and James Ross. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LARCOM. The above reward will be paid, on conviction, by the Resident Magistrate at Longford. DESCRIPTION of said Pat Ross and James Ross: — Patrick, 35 years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, stout make, sallow complexion, thin face, gray eyes, sharp nose, cut on his lip, brown hair; wore a gray frieze coat, cord trowsers, dark vest; wore a jim crow bat. Will try to escape to America. WHEREAS it has been represented to the Lord Lieutenant, that on the morning of the 4th instant, John Andrew Jackson, Esq., J. P., was murdered in his own Demesne, at Mount Pleasant, in the barony of Upper Ormond, and county of Tipperary, by some person or persons at present unknown. His Excellency, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the perpetrators of this murder, is pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 100 to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the person or persons who con\- mitted the same. v By His Excellency's command, Tnos. A. LABCOM. The^ above reward will be paid by John Fleming, Esq., the Resident Magistrate at Nenagh, to those who may become entitled to it under the conditions of this Proclamation. DUBLIN CASTLE, September 9, 1863. WHEREAS Michael Hayes, who is charged with having murdered Mr. John Waller Braddell, on the 30th of July;- 1862, in the town of Tipperaiy, has hitherto evaded arrest. His Excellency the Lord Lieutenant is pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 300 to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, givo such information as shall lead to the arrest of the said Michael Hayes. And His Excellency is further pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 100 to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of any one whomsoever who has, since tho said murder, knowingly harboured or received, or concealed, or assisted, or aided in any way whatsoever, the said Michael Hayes in his escape from arrest. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LABCOM. The above rewards will be paid by any Resident Magistrate or Officer of the Constabulary. DESCRIPTION of said Michael Hayes:— 60 years of ago, 6 foet high, stout make, dark sallow complexion, large heavy face, dark eyes, rather long nose, black, a little gray hair; wore a black frieze body coat, knee breeches, black stockings, Caroline hat; stooped shoulders, and a heavy slovenly gait when walking; has a down look; very heavy eyebrows, somewhat gray ; bald on the crown of the head, with a few stray hairs on it; several of his front teeth out; high cheek bones and sunken jaws ; and altogether a remarkable and an ill- looking man. He may probably assume a disguise, such as a wig, moustache, false teeth, and black coat, & c. Cappamore, 3rd August, 1802. ( B. 10071— ' 0283.)
