All Notices intended for insertion in the Hue- and Cry, are to be transmitted under cover addressed to the Inspector- General of Constabulary ( the words Hue- and- Cry to be written on the left hand corner of the Envelope). No Description can be inserted unless an Information shall have been Sworn; but it is not nccessary to forward the Informations to the IT spector- General. As the law ( 48 Geo. 3, c. 140, s. 44,) only permits the insertion of Notices respecting Felonies, no other description of Notice can be inserted in the Hue- and- Cry. DESCRIPTION of James Kearns, who stands charged with having, on the 9th instant, in a field at Monks- town, County Dublin, willully aided and abetted one John Murphy, in violently assaulting Nicholas Delany, from the effects of which he died immediately:— About 18 or 19 year* of ege, 5 feet 8 or 9 inches bigb, rather slight make, fresh complexion, face rather long, dark brown hair, with short military cut, his neck appears long ; dressed when kst seen in a short round blue pilot jacket, blue military trowsers, out of which the red stiipes down the sides were taken, dark cloth vest, black cloth cap, and military boots which are quite new. lie belongs to the Royal Meath Militia ; and his fathor, who is a journeyman butcher, resides in Barrack- lane, Navan ; and it is probable he will en- deavour to go there or enlist. DESCRIPTION of three persons unknown, natives of Clare, who stand charged with having, on the 15th of August, 1863, in the barony of Tulla Upper, parish of Tulla, grievously assaulted Thomas Keogh, endan- gering his lile:— 1. 22 years of age, 5 feet 10 inches high, stout make, fair complexion, thin freckled face, blue eyes, aquiline nose, fair hair; wore a cap, gray frieze frock coat, cord trowsers, brown vest. 2. 25 years of age, 5 leet 6 inches high, stout make, black complexion, round face, dark eyes, short noso, dark brown hair; wore a jerry hat, friezo frock coat, cord trowsers, gray tweed vest. 3. Limerick. DUBLIN CASTLE, February 21, 1863. WHEREAS it has been represented to the Lord Lieutenant, that on the night of the 17th instant, Mr. John Cussen was fired at and wounded at his residence at Ballyfokeen, in the barony of Connelloe, in the county of Limerick, by some person at present unknown. His Excellency, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the perpetrator of this outrage, is pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 100 to any per- son who shall, within six months from the date here- of, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the person who committed the same. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LARCOM. The above reward will be paid by the Resident Magistrate at Bruff to those who may become entitled to it under the conditions of this Proclamation. DESCRIPTION of a heifer, the property of Michael Furnell, Esq., which was stolen from the landn of Manister, parish of Manister, barony of Pubblebrien, on the night of the 9th August, 1863, viz.— two years old, nearly white, with red spots on the neck, short horns turned in, branded with the letters M. F. on the left hip, and with the letter F. on the right horn; is in good condition ; and valued at £ 10. Bruff, 13th August, 1863. ( B. 24253— 19019.) WHEREAS information has reached the Government that Patrick Ross and James Ross, charged with the murder of John Corrigan, and with firing at and wounding his wife, Mary Corrigan, near Malkagh, in the barony of Longford, and county of Longford, on the 2oth April, 1862, and who have not as yet been arrested, have been concealed, and are harboured, received, and concealed, and assisted and aided in several parts of the country since the said murder: Now, His Excellency the Lord Lieutenant is pleased to offer a reward of £ 100 to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of any one whomsoever who has, since the said murder, knowingly harboured, or received, or con- cealed, or assisted or aided in any way whatever in their escape from arrest, the said Patrick Ross and James Ross. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LARCOM. The above reward will be paid, on conviction, by the Resident Magistrate at Longford. P., was murdered in his own Demesne, at Mount Pleasant, in the barony of Upper Ormond, and county of Tipperary, by some person or persons at present unknown. His Exccllcncy, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the perpetrators of this murder, is pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 100 to any person or persons who shall, within sii months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the person or persons who com- mitted the same. The above reward will be paid by John Fleming, Esq., the Resident Magistrate at Nenagh, to those who may become entitled to it under the conditions of this Proclamation. DUBLIN CASTLE, February 24, 1863. WHEREAS Michael Hayes, who is charged with having murdered Mr. John Waller Braddell, on the SOth of July, 1862, in the town of Tipperary, has hitherto evaded arrest. His Excellency the Lord Lieutenant is pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 800 to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the said Michael Hayes. And His Excellency is further pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ I Ou to any person or persons who shall, within sik months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest Of any one whomsoever who has, since the said murder, knowingly harboured or received, or concealed, or assisted, or aided in any way Whatsoever, the Said Michael Hayes in his escape from arrest. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LABCOM. The above rewards will be p& ld by any Resident Magistrate or Officer of the Constabulary. DESCRIPTION of said Michael Hayes :— 60 years of age, 6 feet high, stout make, dark sallOw complexion, large heavy face, dark ey « te, rather long nose, black, a little gray liai'r; wore a black frieze body coat, knee breeches, black stockings, Caroline bat; stooped shoulders, and a heavy slovenly gait when walking; has a down look; Very heavy eyebrows, somewhat gray ; bald on the crown of tbe head, with a few stray hairs on it; several of his front teeth out; high cheek bones and sunken jaws; and altogether a remarkable and an ill- looking man. He may probably assume a disguise, such as a Wig, moustache, false teeth, and black coat, & c. Cappamore, 3rd August, 1862. DesCRiptioN of Michael Doyle, native of Coolmee- lagh, or Prospect, county Wexford, who stands charged with having; on the 8th day of August, 1863, at Cro- neyhorn, in the barony of Shillelagh, parish of Carnew, with fbut others ( now in custody), been concerned in the murder of John Magee, of Carnew :— 20 years of age, 5 feet 5 inches high, stout make, sandy com- plexion, freckled face, brown eyes, regular nose; wore a round felt hat, dark cord jacket or brown frock coat, dark cord trowsers. He somo time ago ran the post from Prospect House to and from Clonegal ; and lat- terly worked in the employment of Thomas Braddle, esq., J. P., as a labourer at Prospect; and is Supposed to bo concealed in that neighbourhood, where he haS many friends. A coroner's warrant for hU arrest is In the hands of the Head Constable at Tinahely.
