DESCRIPTION of John Brown, native of Isle of Neal, Castlewellan, county Down, who stands charged with having, on the night of the 4th instant, in the barony of Upper Orior, parish of Killevy, robbed James M'Knight of tho sum of 25s., when returning home from the fair ot Poyntzpass:— 22 years of ago, 5 feet 6 inches high, stout make, fair complexion, pale full face, blue eyes, regular nose, dark brown hair; wore an old black cap, drab tweed coat, drab cord trowsers, black vest ; sluggish, heavy gait when walking; never shaved; sunken eyes. DESCRIPTION of a cow, the property of George Haslett, which was stolen out of his cow- house at Lea- mascally, parish of Killarga, and barony of Dromahair, on the night of the 29th, or morning of the 30th ult.: A milch cow, white colour, tops of both ears yellow, wide horns, the left horn inclining downwnrds, the right inclining upwards ; in good condition, and value for about £ 7. WHEREAS it has been represented to the Lord Lieutenant, that on the night of the 17th instant, Mr. John Cussen was fired at and wounded at his residence at Ballyfokeen, in the barony of " Connelloe, in the county of Limerick, by some person at present unknown. His Excellency, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the perpetrator of this outrage, is pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 100 to any per- son who shall, within six months from the date here- of, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the person who committed the same. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LARCOM. The above reward will be paid by R. J. Grace Esq., the Resident Magistrate at Bruff to those who may become entitled to it under the conditions of this Proclamation. Michael Considine, jun. WHEREAS information has reached the Government that Patrick Ross and James Ross, charged with the murder of John Corrigan, and with firing at and wounding his wife, Mary Corrigan, near Malkagh, in the barony of Longford, and county of Longford, on the 20th April, 1862, and who have not as yet been arrested, have been concealed, and are harboured, received, and concealed, and assisted and aided in several parts of the country since the said murder: Now, His Excellency the Lord Lieutenant is pleased to offer a reward of £ 100 to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of any one whomsoever who has, since the said murder, knowingly harboured, or received, or con- cealed, or assisted or aided in any way whatever in their escape from arrest, the said Patiick Ross and James Ross. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LARCOM. The above reward will be paid, on conviction, ly R. A. DESCRIPTION of Peter Hanley, native of Cloonshan nagh, who stands charged with having, on the lOtli of July, 1853, in the barony of Roscommon, parish of Bumlin, dangerously assaulted Stephen Campbell, of Cloonshannagh, by striking him a violent blow with a shovel on the head, from the effects of which blow he lies in a precarious state:— 22 years of ago, 5 feet 7 inches high, stout make, fresh complexion, round face, black eyes, regular nose, dark brown hair; wore a black frieze frock coat, dark trowsers, dark vest; walks erect, and free in gait. Tho above reward will be paid by John Fleming, Esq., the Resident Magistrate at Nenagh, to those who may become entitled to it under the conditions of this Proclamation. hereby to offer a reward of £ 300 to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to tho arrest of the said Michael Hayes. And His Excellency is further pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 100 to any person or persons who shah, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of any one whomsoever who has, since the said murder, knowingly harboured or received, or concealed, or assisted, or aided in any way whatsoever, the said Michael Hayes in his escape from arrest. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LARCOM. The above rewards will be paid by any Resident Magistrate or Officer of the Constabulary. DESCRIPTION of said Michael Hayes:— 60 years of age, 6 foot high, stout make, dark sallow complexion, large heavy face, dark eyes, rather long nose, black, a little gray hair; wore a black frieze body coat, knee breeches, black stockings, Caroline hat; stooped shoulders, and a heavy slovenly gait whon walking; has a down look; very heavy eyebrows, somewhat gray ; bald on the crown of the head, with a fow stray hairs on it; several of his front teeth out; high cheek bones and sunken jaws; and altogether a remarkable and an ill- looking man. He may probably assume a disguise, such as a wig, moustache, false teeth, and black coat, & c. Cappamore, 3rd August, 1862. ( B. 10071— 10283.) DESCRIPTION of Michael Kenna, native of Tipperary N. P., was murdered in his own Demesne, at Mount Pleasant, in the barony of Upper Ormond, and county of Tipperary, by some person or persons at present unknown. His Excellency, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the perpetrators of this murder, is pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 100 to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the person or persons who com- mitted the same.
