DESCRIPTION of Daniel Philip Sullivan and Denis Sullivan, natives of Tiernaboul, who stand charged with having, on the 13th day of June, 1863, in the barony of Magunihy, parish of Killarney, violently assaulted Jeremiah Sullivan, by striking him on the head with a spade :— 1. 20 years of age, 5 feet 5 inches high, slight make, fair complexion, thin face, blue eyes, long nose, fair hair; wore a dark cap, frieze coat, cord trowsers, blue vest. This man is still in the neighbourhood, but it is possible he may endeavour to start for America. 2. 52 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, slight make, pale complexion, thin face, blue eyes ; wore a felt hat, frieze coat, knee breeches, blue vest. DESCRIPTION of Michael Kilbride, native of Carrick- on- Shannon, who stands charged with having, on the 23rd June, in the barony of Leitrim, parish of Kiltog- bert, assaulted Richard Reilly, private in the Leitrim Militia, and stabbed him severely with a knife, so as to endanger his life:— 20 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, stout make, dark complexion, flat face, brown eyes, thick nose, thick lips, dark brown hair; wore a blue cloth cap,. blue pilot frock coat, cord trowsers, dark vest; a blacksmith ; walks straight. Limerick. DUBLIN CASTLE, February 21,1863. WHEREAS it has been represented to the Lord Lieutenant, that on the night of the 17th instant, Mr. John Cussen was fired at and wounded at his residence at Ballyfokeen, in the barony of Connelloe, in the county of Limerick, by some person at present unknown. His Excellency, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the perpetrator of this outrage, is pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 100 to any per- son who shall, within six months from the date here- of, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the person who committed the same. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LARCOM. The above reward will be paid by R. J. Grace Esq., the Resident Magistrate at Bruff to those who may become entitled to it under the conditions of this Proclamation. Michael Considine, jun. DUBLIN CASTLE, December 30, 1862. WHEREAS information has reached the Government that Patrick Ross and James Ross, charged with the murder of John Corrigan, and with firing at and wounding his wife, Mary Corrigan, near Malkagh, in the barony of Longford, and county of Longford, on the 20th April, 1862, and who have not as yet been arrested, have been concealed, and are harboured, received, and concealed, and assisted and aided in several parts of the country since the said murder: Now, His Excellency the Lord Lieutenant is pleased to offer a reward of £ 100 to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to tho arrest of any one whomsoever who has, since the said murder, knowingly harboured, or received, or con- cealed, or assisted or aided in any way whatever in their escape from arrest, the said Patrick Ross and James Ross. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LARCOM. The above reward will be paid, on conviction, by R. A. O'Donnell, Esq., Resident Magistrate at Long- ford. DESCRIPTION of said Pat Ross and James Ross:— Patrick, 35 years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, stout make, sallow complexion, thin face, gray eyes, sharp nose, cut on his lip, brown hair; wore a gray frieze coat, cord trowsers, dark vest; wore a jim crow hat. Will try to escape to America. James, 25 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches high, slight make, dark complexion, thin face, gray eyes, regular nose, black hair; wore a dark frieze frock coat, cord trowsers, dark tweed vest; wore an old dark cloth cap. WHEREAS it has been represented to tho Lord Lieutenant, that on the morning of the 4th instant, John Andrew Jackson, Esq., J. P., was murdered in his own Demesne, at Mount Pleasant, in the barony of Upper Ormond, and county of Tipperary, by some person or persons at present unknown. His Excellency, for the better approhending and bringing to justice the perpetrators of this murder, is pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 100 to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the person or persons who com- mitted the same. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LARCOM. The above reward will be paid by John Fleming, Esq., the Resident Magistrate at Nenagh, to those who may become entitled to it under the conditions of this Proclamation. DUBLIN CASTLE, February 24, 1863. WHEREAS Michael Hayes, who is charged with having murdered Mr. John Waller Braddell, on the 30th of July, 1862, in the town of Tipperary, has hitherto evaded arrest. His Excellency the Lord Lieutenant is pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 300 to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the said Michael Hayes. And His Excellency is further pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 100 to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of any one whomsoever who has, since the said murder, knowingly harboured or received, or concealed, or assisted, or aided in any way whatsoever, the said Michael Hayes in his escape from arrest. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LARCOM. The above rewards will be paid by any Resident Magistrate or Officer of the Constabulary. DESCRIPTION of said Michael Hayes:— 60 years of age, 6 feet higb, stout make, dark sallow complexion, largo heavy face, dark eyes, rather long nose, black, a little gray hair; wore a black frieze body coat, knee breeches, black stockings, Caroline hat; stooped shoulders, and a heavy slovenly gait when walking; has a down look; very heavy eyebrows, somewhat gray ; bald on tho crown of tbe head, with a few stray hairs on it; several of his front teeth out; high cheek bones end sunken jaws; end altogether a remarkable and an ill- looking man. fie may probably assume a disguise, such as a wig, moustache, false teeth, and black coat, & c. Cappamore, 3rd August, 1862. ( B. 10071— 10283.) DESCRIPTION of John Walsh, native of Thurles, who stands charged with having, on the 17th day of June, at Tburles, in the barony of Eliogarty, parish of Thurles, forged a cheque on the National Bank of Ireland, Thurles, for £ 32 12s., and absconded on the 18th June, 18P3:— 21 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, stout make, sandy complexion, sandy hair, blue eyes ; broken tooth in front ot his mouth ; he is rather well- looking, and has the appearance of a clerk ; wore a jerry hat, ordinary blue office or gray frieze coat, ' light tweed trowsers. This man was an assistant ' clerk in Thurles Workhouse, and forged a cheque under the pretence of paying a milk contractor. will endeavour to emigrate. thurles, 19th Juno, 1863. ( H. 21770— 11252.)
