The Grand Jury have neither prevented the County Surveyors nor their Assistants from engaging in private practice. It is to be observed that the East Riding of the county of Cork has been divided, and that the two County Surveyors now fulfil the duties hitherto discharged by William A. Treacy at salaries of 300 /. each, namely, A. O. Lyons for the Northern Division, and F. G. Deverill for the Southern Division. W. Johnson, Secretary.
