RETURN of the Names of the COUNTY SURVEYOR and his ASSISTANTS, with their respective SALARIES, for the Seven Years previous to the Act 24 & 25 Yict. c. 43. Name of County Surveyor. Salary of County Surveyor. Names of County Surveyor's Assistants. Salary of County Surveyor's Assistants. Florence Mahony, up to Spring assizes, 1861. James A. Dickinson, ap- pointed at Spring assizes 1861. 3001, per annum, with 60 I per annum for an office and clerk. John Farrell and Charles Holmes, both appointed at Summer assizes, 185 8 50 I. per annum each. jV. B.— The salaries of the County Surveyor and his Assistants have not been advanced under the 24 & 25 Vict, nor the Grand Jury have not required them not to engage in private practice. 15 April 1863. County Surveyor, James Barry Farrell, Esq.; salary, 300 I. per annum. Assistants:— Nicholas Cowman, Thomas Harvey, Michael Cowman, James Pope, Matthew Doyle ( vice N. Cowman, resigned), John Murphy ( vice Thomas Harvey, deceased), John Wadding, not permanent, but appointed to superintend the erection of Wexford Free Bridge; salary, 50 I. per annum. STATEMENT of COUNTY SURVEYOR and ASSISTANTS, whose SALARIES have been advanced pursuant to the 24 & 25 Vict. c. 43, and the Amount so advanced. County Surveyor, James Barry Farrell, Esq.; advance from 300 I. to 600 I. per annum. Assistants:— Michael Cowman, James Pope, Matthew Doyle, John Murphy; advance from 501, to 801, per annum. No stipulation was made in this county with regard to private practice in the case of the County Surveyor or his Assistants. 6 April 1863. Henry E. Wynne, Secretary. COUNTY OF WICKLOW. Salary per Annum for SevenYears previous to the Act 24 & 25 Vict, c. 43. Present Salary as advanced by Grand Jury, pursuant to Act 24 & 25 Vict.
