WHEREAS it has been represented to the Lord Lieutenant, that about the hour of 5 o'clock, on the afternoon of the 3rd of June, 1862, William J. H. Moreland, Esq., was fired at on the public road at Poulagour, in the barony of Tulla Upper, and county of Clare, by some person at present unknown. His Excellency, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the perpetrators of this outrage, is pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 100 to any per- son or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the person or persons who com- mitted the same. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LARCOM. The above reward will be paid by William O'Hara, Esq., the Resident Magistrate at Tulla, to those who may become entitled to it under the conditions of this Proclamation, DESCRIPTION of eight heifers, the property' of Michael M'Namara, which were stolen from tbe lands of Coogaun, parish of Quin, barony of Bunratty Upper, on tbe night of tbe 15th instant, viz.:— 1. Two years old, bracket colour, long horns, M. on right hip ; value, £ 5 10s. 2. Two years old, red colour, short stout horns ; value for £ 6. 3. Three yea- s old ( Kerry), bracket colour, long high horns ; value for £ 6. 4. Three years old ( Kerry), red sides, black back, long horns; value for i. 6. 5. WHEREAS, on the night of the 10th instant, a party of riotous persons, paraded the streets of the city of Cork, committing breaches of the public peace. I hereby offer a reward of £ 50 to any person who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the discovery and prosecution to conviction of said persons, and pro- portionably for any one or more of them. DESCRIPTION of James Hustis, native of Fermanagh, who stands charged with having, on the 18th day of March, 1863, at Curardreen, in the barony of Clan- awley, parish of Kinawley, violently assaulted George Greliam, from tbe effects ot which his life is in danger :— 29 years of age, 5 feet 9 inches high, slender make, sallow complexion, thin face, brown eyes, large nose, long black hair; woro a jerry hat, black frock coat, cord trowsers, black vest, small block whiskers ; bis right shoulder is higher than the left. WHEREAS it has been represented to the Lord Lieutenant, that on the night of the 17th instant, Mr. John Cussen was fired at and wounded at his residence at Ballyfokeen, in the barony of Connelloe, in the county of Limerick, by some person at present unknown. His Excellency, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the perpetrator of this outrage, is pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 100 to any per- son who shall, within six months from the date here- of, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the person who committed the same. Grace Esq., the Resident Magistrate at Bruff to those who may become entitled to it under the conditions of this Proclamation. DESCRIPTION of a cart, the property of Edmond Sullivan, which was stolen from the lands of Killinane, parish of Galbally, on the night of tho 16th instant:— a box cart, new body, lined with old boards, wheels a little worn, all painted red, a want in the heel of one of the shafts, both of which are crooked under tho front rider, which is quite observable by looking along them from the front. DUBLIN CASTLE, December 30, 1862. WnEREAS information has reached the Government that Patrick Ross and James Ross, charged with the murder of John Corrigan, and with firing at and wounding his wife, Mary Corrigan, near Malkagh, in tho barony of Longford, and county of Longford, on tho 20th April, 1862, and who have not as yet been arrested, have been concealed, and are harboured, received, and concealed, and assisted and aided in several parts of the countiy since the said murder: Now, His Excellency the Lord Lieutenant is pleased to offer a reward of £ 100 to any person oi persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of any ono whomsoever who has, since the said murder, knowingly harboured, or received, or con- cealed, or assisted or aided in any way whatever in their c9cnpo from arrest, the said Patrick Ross and James Ross. By his Excellency's command, Thos. A. LARCOM. The above reward will be paid, on conviction, by R. A. O'Donnell, Esq., resident Magistrate at Long- ford. DESCRIPTION of said Pat Ross and James Ross:— Patrick, 35 years of ago, 5 feet 7 inches high, stout make, sallow complexion, thin face, gray eyes, sharp nose, cut on his lip, brown hair; wore a gray frieze coat, cord trowscrs, dark vest; wore a jim crow hat. Will try to escape to America. James, 25 years of ago, 5 feet 8 inches high, slight make, dark complexion, thin face, gray eyes, regular nose, black hair; wore a dark frieze frock coat, cord trowsers, dark tweed vest; wore an old dark cloth cap. WHEREAS, on the evening of the 13th instant, about 7 o'clock, an attempt was made by parties unknown to upset the railway train, by placing a large stone weighing over 1 cwt., on one of the rails, at Carrownrea, in the barony of Corran, county of Sligo. I hereby offer a reward of £ 30 to any person who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the person or persons concerned in this outrage. WHEREAS, on the night of the 5th instant, about 11 o'clock, an attempt was made by a party unknown to upset the 4 o'clock down train from Dublin to Sligo, by placing the wheels and axle of a ballast truck on the rails, at Rathmullin, in the barony of Corran, county Sligo. I hereby offer a reward of £ 50 to any person who shall," within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of any one or more of the party concerned in this outrage. DUBLIN CASTLE, February 24, 1863. WHEREAS Michael Hayes, who is charged with having murdered Mr. John Waller Braddell, on the 80th of July, 1862, in the town of Tipperary, has hitherto evaded arrest. His Excellency the Lord Lieutenant is pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 300 to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the said Michael Hayes. And His Excellency is further pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 100 to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of any one whomsoever who has, since the said murder, knowingly harboured or received, or concealed, or assisted, or aided in any way whatsoever, tho said Michael Hayes in his escape from arrest. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LARCOM. The above rewards will be paid by any Resident Magistrate or Officer of the Constabulary. DESCRIPTION of said Michael Hayes:— 60 years of ego, 6 foot high, stout mako, dark sallow complexion, large heavy face, dark eyes, rather long nose, black, a little gray hair; wore a black frieze body coat, kneo breeches, black stockings, Caroline bat; stooped shouldors, and a heavy slovenly gait when walking; has a down look; very heavy eyebrows, somewhat gray ; bald on tho crown of the head, with a few stray hairs on it; several of his front tooth out; high cheek bones and sunken jaws; and altogether a remarkable and an ill- looking man. He may probably assume a disguise, such as a wig, moustache, falso teeth, and black coat, & c. Cappamore, 3rd August, 1862. ( B. 10071— 10283.) Parents reside at 56, New Lodge road, Belfast. 2. edward Kenna, alias Kinnace, 18 years of age, 5 feet 3 inches high, stout make, heavy looking boy, fair complexion ( pale), dark brown hair, cut rather short, grey eyes, small noso, small mouth, round visage; formerly belonged to Murroe. his uncle lives at Murroe, county Limerick.
