WHEREAS it has been represented to the Lord Lieutenant, that about the hour of 5 o'clock, on the afternoon of the 3rd of June, 1862, William J. H. Moreland, Esq., was fired at on the public road at Poulagour, in the barony of Tulla Upper, and county of Clare, by some person at present Unknown. His Excellency, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the perpetrators of this outrage, is pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 100 to any per- son or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the person or persons who com- mitted the same. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LARCOM. The above reward will be paid by William O'Hara, Esq., the Resident Magistrate at Tulla, to those who may become entitled to it under the conditions of this Proclamation. WHEREAS, on the night of the 10th instant, a party of riotous persons, paraded the streets of the city of Cork, committing breaches of the public peace. 1 hereby offer a reward of £ 50 to any person who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the discovery and prosecution to conviction of said persons, and pro- portionably for any one or more of them. I hereby offer a reward of £ 50 to any person who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the party concerned in this outrage. WrtfeTtEAs information has reached the Government that Patrick Ross and James Ross, charged with the murder of John Corrigan, and with firing at and wounding his wife, Mary Corrigan, near Malkagh, in the barony of Longford, and county of Longford, on tho 20th April, 1862, and who have not as yet been arrested, liavo been concealed, and are harboured, recoived, and concealed, and assisted and aided in several parts of the country since tho said murder: Now, His Excellency the Lord Lieutenant is pleased to offer a reward of £ 100 to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of any ono whomsoever who has, since the said murder, knowingly harboured, or received, or con- cealed, or assisted or aided in any way whatever in their escape from arrest, tho said Patrick Ross and James Ross. I hereby offer a reward of £ 30 to any person " who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the person or persons concerned in this outrage. John Waller Braddell, on the 30tb » " of July, 1863, in the town of Tipperary,- has hitherto evaded arrest. His Excellency the Lord Lieutenant is pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 800 to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the said Michael Hayes. And His Excellency is further pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 100 to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of any one whomsoever who has, since the said murder, knowingly harboured or received, or concealed, or assisted, or aided in any way whatsoever, the said Michaoi Hayes in his escape from arregt. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LARCOM. The above rewards will be paid by any Resident Magistrate of Officer of the Constabulary. DESCRIPTION of said Michael Hayes:— 60 years of ago, 6 feet high, stout rnako, dark sallour complexion, large heavy faco, dark eyes, rather long nose, black, a little gray hair; wore a black frieze body coat, knee breeches, black stockings, Caroline hat; stooped shoulders, and a heavy slovenly gait whan walking; has a down look; very heavy eyebrows, somewhat gray ; bald on the crown of the head, with a few stray hairs on it; several of his front teeth out; high cheek bones and sunken jaws ; and altogether a remarkable and an ill- looking man.
