It is strongly suspected that his friends know where he is, and conceal it iu order to avoid paying 2s. 6d. per week towards his support. 5. Robert M'Ilroy, 14 years of age, 4 feet 9 inches high, slight make, awkward walk, dark complexion, sooty brown hair, grey eyes, pugish nose, thick lips, large front teeth, somewhat round visage, stiff deformed legs, lost half of fourth toe of right foot; formerly belonged to belfast; parents reside at William's- lane, Belfast. 6. Thomas Barber, 16 years of age, 5 feet 3 inches high, slight make, fresh complexion, freckled, sandy hair, brownish dim eyes, turned- up nose, open nostril*, somewhat large mouth, long thin visage ; formerly be- longed to Ballymena; mother resides at Whitehouse, Shore- road, Belfast. The school dress consists of drab corduroy trowsers, sleeved waistcoat and jacket, with plain brass buttons, blue striped shirt, all with reformatory stamp ; Scotch cap, chock neck- tie, nailed boots, woollen socks. 20th January, 1863. WHEREAS it has been represented to the Lord Lieutenant, that about the hour of 5 o'clock, on the afternoon of the 3rd of June, 1862, William J. H. Moreland, Esq., was fired at on the public road at Poulagour, in the barony of Tulla Upper, and county of Clare, by some person at present unknown. His Excellency, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the perpetrators of this outrage, is pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 100 to any per- son or persons who shall, within, six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the person or persons who com- mitted the same. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LARCOM. The above reward will be paid by William O'Hara, Esq., the Resident Magistrate at Tulla, to those who may become entitled to it under the conditions of this Proclamation. DESCRIPTION of seven hoggets, the property of Joseph Hall, esq., J. DESCRIPTION of John M'Tiernan, native of Deer- park, Manorhamilton, who stands chargi d with hav- ing, on the 6th day of January, at Lurganboy, in the barony of Dromahair, parish of Rossinver, violently assaulted Michael Gilroy, and deprived him of a gun: 32 years of age, 5 feet 5 inches high, stout make, fair complexion, light brown hair, worn long, gray eyes; no whiskers; wore a beaver hat, blue pilot lrock coat, tweed trowsers, black vest. WHEREAS information has reached the Governmen t that Patrick Ross and James Ross, charged with the murder ol John Corrigan, and with firing at and wounding his wife, Mary Corrigan, near Malkagh, in the barony of Longford, and county of Longford, on the 2nth April, 1802, and who have not as yet been arrested, have been concealed, and are harboured, received, and concealed, and assisted and aided in several parts of the country since the said murder: Now, His Excellency the Lord Lieutenant is pleased to offer a reward of £ 100 to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of any one whomsoever who has, since the said murder, knowingly harboured, or received, or con- cealed, or assisted or aided in any way whatever in their escape from arrest, the said Patrick Ross and James Ross. By His Excellency's command, THOS. A. LARCOM. The above reward will be paid, on conviction, by R. A. O'Donnell, Esq., Resident Magistrate at Long- ford. DESCRIPTION of said Pat Ross and James Ross:— Patrick, 35 years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, stout make, fallow complexion, thin face, gray eyes, sharp nose cut on his lip, brown hair; wore a gray friese coat, ctord trowsers, dark vest; wore a jim crow hat. Will try to escape to America. James, 25 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches high, slight make, dark complexion, thin f^ ce, gray eyes, regular nose, black hair; wore a dark frieze frock coat, cord trowsers, dark tweed vest; wore an old dark cloth cap. WHEREAS Michael Hayes, who is charged with having murdered Mr. John Waller Braddell, on the 30th of July, 1862, in the town of Tipperaiy, has hitherto evaded arrest. His Excellency the Lord Lieutenant is pleased hereby to ofler a reward of ililou to any person or persons who shall, within one month from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the said Michael Hayes. And His Excellency is further pleased hereby to offer a reward of £ 100 to any person or persons who shall, within three months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of any one whomsoever who has, since the said murder, j knowingly harboured or received, or concealed, or assisted, or aided in any way whatsoever, the said Michael Hayes in his escape from arrest. By his Excellency's command, THOS. A. LARCOM. The above rewards will be paid by any Resident Magistrate or Officer of the Constabulary. DESCRIPTION of said Michael Hayes:— 60 years of age, 6 feet high, stout make, dark sallow complexion, largo heavy face, dark eyes, rather long nose, blacky a little gray hair; wore a black frieze ' od,> coat, knee breeches, black stockiotrs, Caroline hat; stooped shoulders, and a heavy slovenly gait when walking; has a down look; very hoaiy eyebrows, somewhat gray ; bald on the crown of the head, whh » few stray hairs on it; several of his tr< nt teoth out; high cheek hones and sunkon jaws; rnd altogether B remarkable and an ill- looking man. DESCRIPTION of a mare, the property of Catherine Fallon, which was stolen out of her stable, on the lands of Labawn, parish of Ballyloughloe, barony of Clon- lonon, on ( he night of the 19th of January, 1863:— A dark brown mare, with white stripe in forehead, one hind fetlock white, the tail cut square over the gams, and the hair cut close off the inside; rising six years old, about 15 hands high, smooth coat, and in good condition ; value for about £ 12. DESCRIPTION of a person, name unknown, supposed native ot Tipperary, who stanHs charged with having, on the night of 15th Jan., 1863, in the barony of i; lon- lonon, parish of Kilcleagh, stolen ahorse, the property of Francis Bradley, out of his stable on the lands of Ballinamuddagh, Moate district:— 28 years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, slight make, pale complexion, dark brown hair ; wore an old Muck frock coat, dark trowsers. This person has the appearance of having being some time in the army, as he himself asserts, but now is in the apparel of ragman or wanderer of that class. Description of the horse : A dark bay horse, rising 5 years old, his legs daiker than bis body, a smooth coat, a whitostar on his fore- head, about 14 hands high, light limbs, and sprightly; has the hair rubbed off his right hip in a long stripe from rubbing against tl e wall ; valuo tor abrut t7. Deserters from Her Majesty's Service, [ Ireland.] On and after this date ( Dec. 11, 1857), until further notice, the Reward given by the War Office for the Apprehension of a Deserter will be TWENTY SHILLINGS instead of TEN SHILLINGS; the object being to prevent the crime of Desertion, and to hold out a greater inducement for the recovery of Deeerters to Her Majesty's Service.
