In the year 1836 the number of registered electors was 332, of whom 68 were scot and lot electors, and the remaining 264 were electors in respect of a 10/. qualification each. In the year 1837 the number of electors registered was 360, of whom 63 were scot and lot and the remaining 297 were electors in respect of a 10/. occupation each. The total number of voters who polled at the late general election was 277, of whom 52 were scot and lot, and the remaining 225 in respect of a 10/. qualification each. Edw. Wells, 12 February 1838.
