100 ELECTORS REGISTERED, AND VOTERS POLLED, DENBIGH. THE number of electors on the register of 1836 for this borough, the contributory boroughs of Ruthin and Holt, and the town of Wrexham, is as follows : Freemen - £. 10 householders - In 1837, the numbers are as follow: Total Freemen - £. 10 householders Total The numbers who polled at the late general election were as follow : Freemen - £. 10 householders Total - - - - I presume that this is the information sought for by the resolution of the House of Com- mons ; but if a similar return for this borough only be required, I shall be happy to forward it on hearing from you. P. S.— Since writing the above, I have thought it as well to annex you a similar state- ment for this borough alone. Number of electors of the borough of Denbigh for 1836 - - 328 Ditto ------ ditto - - - for 1837 - - 325 Number of Denbigh electors who polled at the last election Number of freemen who then polled - 200 Number of 10I. householders ----- 69 16 December 1837. IN 1836, the number of electors registered was 1,751, of whom 482 were registered as freemen, and the remainder ( 1,269) were registered in respect of property situate within the several parishes in the same borough. In 1837, the number of electors registered was 1731, of whom 474 were registered as freemen, and the remainder ( 1,257) were registered in respect of property situate within the several parishes in the same borough. The number of electors who actually polled at the late general election was 1318, of whom 368 were freemen, and the remainder ( 950) voted in respect of property. John Bell Crompton, Mayor. DEVIZES.
