Conway 41 - 41 Bangor 174 - 174 Carnarvon - Pwllhely Cricciaeth Nevin - 272 82 9 26 297 142 40 16 569 224 49 42 In these four boroughs several of the electors are registered under each of the qualifications. From the similarity of names prevalent in Wales, it would be difficult to state positively how many elec- tors are registered twice ( that is, under each qualification); but it is calculated that the number may be about 160. 1,099 Number of Electors who actually Polled at the last Election. 14 February 1838. J. Morgan, Mayor. CHATHAM. Number of registered voters as revised by the barristers, for 1836 - - 785. Ditto - - - - - for 1837 - - 777. At the election 1832 - 575 electors polled. — 1834 ... - 454 - ditto. — 1835 - 621 - ditto. — 1837, no opposition. The constituency consist of 10 Z. householders. 16 December 1837. W. Marsh, Returning Officer. CHELTENHAM. THE number of electors registered for this borough in 1836 was 1,324. The number on the register for the present year ( 1837) is 1,573. The number of electors who actually polled in this borough at the late general election, was 930.
