BOROUGH OF DOWNPATRICK. £. 5 householders - - - - - - 179 £. 10 householders --____ 123 The late election for the county of Down was not contested. With respect to the borough of Newry, which was contested, 1 cannot make any return of the number of electors who actually voted thereat, inasmuch as neither the poll- books nor indenture of return have been lodged in the office of the clerk of the peace by the returning- officer of that borough. 1G April 1838. CITY OF DUBLIN. Gross Number of Electors who actually polled - - - 6,921 The foregoing Table'is the result of our examination of the poll- books used on the late general election, and subsequently deposited with us by the then sheriffs of the city of Dublin; but as these books do not afford information wherefrom to supply the means of classifying the electors under their respective qualifications, we are unable in such respect to comply with the terms thereof.
