P. 7 AT THE LAST GENERAL ELECTION. 19 COUNTY OF SUSSEX. Number of Electors Registered in the Western and Eastern Divisions. Division of the County. West Sussex East Sussex Number of Electors who actually Polled in each of the said Divisions at the late General Election. I have been already engaged, with my clerk, five days in preparing the returns, and I find it quite impossible for me to furnish any further correct information than that contained in my letter of the 13th instant, and the annexed returns, as I find not only the qualifica- tion of some of the electors not described in the poll- books in the same manner they are in the register, but that in the poll- books for the Brighton, Mayfield, Battle, Hastings, and Rye polling districts, in the Eastern Division of the county, and for the Arundel and Petworth polling districts, in the Western Division of the county, the description of qua- lification is entirely omitted, ( with very few exceptions in the Brighton and Rye districts,) and the situation of the property only described. Lewes, 20 December 1837. Wm. V. Langridge, Clerk of the Peace. COUNTY OF WARWICK. Number of Electors Registered. * The qualification of one elector was not inserted in the list. Number of Electors who actually Polled at the late General Election. 15 December 1837. 359- Wm. O. Hunt, Clerk of the Peace. c 2
