2 4 Coaches. Letters for any of the above places, if ordered to be sent by Ship, as at London, or any other Port, are taken at half the Packet- rates ; but in that case the letters must be paid when put into the Post- Office. From July to December, inclusive, the Packet touches at Pernambuco and Bahia, on her outward passage to Rio de Janeiro ; and the other six months on her home- ward passage. In November, January, and February, the Packets touching at Bermuda, go to New York direct. During the other eight months they go and return by Halifax. The periods of return of the Packets are thus calcula- ted:— To Jamaica and back, 16 weeks; America, 15 weeks; Leeward Islands, 13 weeks; Malta, 14 weeks ; Brazil, 20 weeks ; and Lisbon, 4 weeks. MAIL AND STAGE COACH CONVEYANCES. COACHES AND GIGS. The BALLATER MAIL, leaves Royal Hotel coach- office, 01, Union Street, daily, £ before 7, A. M. BANFF and STRATHDON MAIL- GIGS, from Cruickshank's Inn, 8, Schoolhill, daily, at 7 A. M. INVERNESS, via IIUNTLY, from Royal Mail coach- office, daily, at £ before 7, A. M. The mail from Inverness arrives in Aberdeen at J past 12, P. M. LONDON and EDINBURGH, from the above office, or from Anderson's New Inn, Castle Street, at \ before 3, P. M. arriving in Edinburgh at 6, A. M. The mail from Edinburgh arrives in Aberdeen every morning, at 6.22. MAIL- GIG, by Udmj, Tarves, and Metlilic, from Jaflray's every morning at 7- PETERHEAD and FRASERBURGH, from Royal Mail coach office, 61, Union Street, or Anderson's New Inn, Castle Street, daily, at J before 7, A. M. The mail from Peterhead arrives at Aberdeen, | past 12, P. M. STAGE COACHES. BANKS of the BOGIE, via Skene, Cluny, Alford, and Lumsden Village, to Muir of Rhynie, from Cruick- shank's Inn, 8, Schoolhill, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, at j past 10, A. M. and reaches Howie's Inn at 4, P. M. Leaves on return on alternate days at J past 6 A. M. and arrives in Aberdeen at 1, P. M. BANKS of the DEE, for Banchory, from Royal Mail coach office every evening ( Sunday excepted) at 4 o'clock. Leaves Banchory on return every morning at 7 o'clock. BANKS of the DON, to Inverury, daily, ( Sunday excepted) at £ past 3, P. M. from Royal Mail coach- office. Leaves Inverury on return at £ past 7 A. M. and ar- rives in Aberdeen at \ past 9 A. M.
