Containing the Substance of all Informations received in Cases of Felonies, and Misdemeanors of an. aggravated nature, and against Receivers of Stolen Goods, reputed Thieves, and Offenders escaped from Custody, with the time, the place, and every particular circumstance marking the Offence. The Names of Persons charged, who are known but not in Custody, and of those who are not known, their Appearance, Dress, and every other mark of identity that can be described. The Names of Accomplices and Accessories, with every other particular which may lead to their Apprehension. The Names of all Persons brought before the Magistrates, charged with any of the Offences mentioned, and whether committed for Trial, Re- examination, or how otherwise disposed of. Also a Description of Property that has been Stolen, and particularly of Stolen Horses, with as much particularity as can be given, with every circumstance that may be useful for the purpose of Tracing and Recovering it. As no charge is made for the insertion of Articles relating to Stolen Property in the Police Gazette and Hue and Cry, all Letters addressed to the Editor upon that subject, are requested to be post- paid, otherwise the insertion requested will not take place. MURDER, AND MALICIOUSLY SHOOTING OR STABBING- Whitehall, February 28th, 1334. Whereas it hath been humbly represented unto the King, That, about half- past six o'clock in the evening of Wednesday, the 26th day of February instant, Mr. John Richardson, bailiff to J. Perkins, Esq., of Pendhill, near Bletchingley, in tlie county of Surrey, was inhumanly Murdered, between Epsom and Banstcad, on his return from Epsom Market, and robbod of Cash and Bank of England Notes to the amount of about £ 20 or £ 30 ; Ilis Majesty, for the/ better apprehending and bringing Uj justice the persons concerned in the Murder before mentioned, is hereby pleased to promise His most gracious Pardon to any one of them ( except the person who actually committed the same) who shall discover his Accomplice or Accomplices therein, so that he she or they may be apprehended and con- victed thereof: And, as a further encouragement, a Reward of One Hundred Pounds is hereby offered by the Right Honourable the Lords Commissioners of His Majesty's Treasury, and an additional Reward of One Hundred Pounds by the said John Perkins, F. sa., to any person ( except as aforesaid) who shalbdiscover the said offender or offenders, so that he she or they may be appre- hended and convicted of the said offence. MELBOURNE. On Wednesday evening, the 26th ultimo, about half- past six o'clock, Mr. John Richardson, of Bletchingley, Surrey, was inhumanly Murdered ( by being shot through the lungs), between Epsom and Banstead, upon his return from Epsom Market; and also Robbed of Cash and Bank of England Notes, to the amount of between £ 20 and £ 30; a steel- mounted percussion Pistol, with swivel rod, escutcheons and thumb- piece, an eight- inch barrel, double- sighted back- work, cocks, bore 18, and name ' Fenton, London.' Also, a pair of pocket Pistols, common flint locks, flat sided stocks, round steel barrels, and maker's name ' Blanch.'— There is no doubt that the said murder and robbery was committed by two Men, who were seen coming from the spot immediately after- wards : one is about five feet ten or eleven inches high, the other lull half- a- head shorter; one had on a dark jacket or frock, the other a lighter one. They are supposed to be the same men who were seen about two hours previously on Walton Heath, the tall one wearing a light smock- frock, and having a bundle under his arm : the tall man is powerful- looking but thin, the other is remarkably ill- looking.— Whoever will give such information as may lead to the apprehension of the perpetrators of the said atrocious crime, shall, on conviction, receive One Hundred Pounds Reward, on application to Messrs. Everest and Harding, Solicitors, Epsom, Surrey.— Information to be given at the Police Station, Scotland- yard; or at any of the Police Offices. 7 Whitehall, February 10th, 1834. Whereas it hath been humbly represented unto the King, That, between eight and nine o'clock on the rooming of Tues- day, the 28th day of January last, William M'Combie, a pedlar, was way- laid, in a Grove, near the Forest of Dean, in the county of Gloucester, by some evil- disposed person or persons unknown, and so violently beaten on the head with a bludgeon, as to cause his death shortly afterwards; His Majesty, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the persons concerned in the Murder before mentioned, is hereby pleased to promise His most gracious Pardon to any one of them ( except the person who actually committed the same) who shall discover Lis Accomplice or Accomplices therein, so that he she or they may be apprehended and con- victed thereof: And, as a further encouragement, a Reward of One Hundred Pounds is hereby offered by the Right Honourable the Lords Commissioners of His Majesty's Treasury, to any person ( ex- cept as aforesaid) who shall discover the said offender or offenders, so that he she or they may be apprehended and con- victed of the said offence. MELBOURNE. HOUSE- BREAKING. On Friday night, the 28th ultimo, or early the following morning, the Dwelling- house of Mr. John Crees, of Pyle Farm, in Trudoxhill, in" the parish of Nunney, was broken and entered, and the following property stolen therefrom, viz.— One £ 10 Note, of Messrs. Phipps' Bank, Warminster; a £ 5 ditto, of Messrs. Stuckey's Bank, Frome ; two Sovereigns, and £ 2 in silver: eight silver Spoons, marked ' S. C.'; four Shirts, one marked ' J. C.'; a manogany Work- box, a metal Tea- pot, two Shawls, two bottles of Brandy, six lady's Caps, c. vo Veils, and other articles.— Whoever will give information that may lead to conviction of the offender or offenders, shall receive Ten Pounds Reward, by applying to the said Mr. John Crees, or Mr. James Crees, of Witham Park. Between the hours of eleven o'clock on Monday night the 3rd instant and eight o'clock the next morning, the House of Mr. Ballard, Bookseller, No. 23, Maiden- lane, Covent- garden, was entered, and the following articles were stolen therefrom, viz.— Silver : six Tea- spoons, marked < W. M. B.'; one Table- spoon and one Dessert- spoon, ' F.' Two Shirts, one not quite finished ; two unfinished Shifts, a Ilat, and a red silk Shawl: also £ 13 in gold, from the till. On Sunday evening, the 2nd instant, between four and eleven o'clock, the House of Mr. Morris, in Bett's- street, Saint George, East, was entered by means of skeleton keys, during the absence of the family, and the following property stolen there- from, viz.— A silver Watch ; a ditto ditto, maker's name ' John Ashton Lake,' aud ' R. M.' in ciphers on the outside case, also on the inside case* R. M., 1796'; one tortoise- shell Snuff- box, with a small piece of gold let- in on the lid, and ' R. M.' en- graved on it; an olive Coat and Trousers; six or eight red silk Handkerchiefs, marked ' R. M.'; two silk Waistcoats; and £ 3 in copper. On Monday evening, the 3rd instant, about eight o'clock, the House of Mr. Appleford, No. 27, Middleton- square, Saint Luke, was entered by means of skeleton keys, and the following articles were stolen therefrom, viz.— An olive colour Great Coat, double- breasted, and lined with shalloon ; a small ditto, single- breasted ; a light mixed morning surtout Coat, a black dress Coat, and a green surtout ditto. Between the hours of six o'clock on Saturday evening the 1st instant and eight o'clock the following Monday morning, the Warehouse of Mr. Thomas Gooding, Silk Manufacturer, No. 5, Fuller- street, Bethnal- green, was entered by means of skeleton keys, and the following property stolen therefrom, viz.— Thirty- one pounds twelve ounces weight of fine Italian Tram raw Silk, nine pounds four ounces weight of Seedmount raw ditto, and twelve yards and three- quarters of black hat Shag; also forty- one Sovereigns. On Saturday night, the 8th ultimo, the dwelling- house of Mr. John Dunning, of Carey, near Wareham, Dorset, was broken and entered by three men, who, after cruelly beating and wounding Mr. Dunning, took away the following articles": Four Five Pound county notes, ten Sovereigns, one small French Gold Watch, with black ribbon attached, a Gold Key, and a small Gold Seal, with two Hearts pierced with a dart engraved on the stone. Also, a red watch- ribbon with a Gold Ring, Seal, and Key, a new silver Watch, marked inside' J. P.' the number belifeveil to be either 3,400 or 4,800, a steel Chain, with one gold and one common key, a gold Finger Ring, with Coral Beads, another gold Ring, with stone set on swivel, so that it may be worn as a mourning- ring or otherwise, one side of the stone having the motto ' Sacred to Departed Worth ' in gold on a black ground, and the other side edged with small pearls, and hair in the centre, and several other rings, a small gold Pin, with clear white studs, ten silver tea- spoons, marked with the letter D, two smaller ditto, no mark, one old- fashioned silver Dessert- spoon, marked originally I. K., and an E. very roughly added since, the end of the handle turned up, an old- fashioned Cream- jug, on three feet, a gold Chain, worn round the neck as a watch- guard, a good black Coat, a blue ditto, a yellow spotted Waistcoat, and a pair of new drab kerseymere Breeches, one watered slate- coloured silk dress, one ditto, green shot with yellow, two light muslin Gowns, white Petticoats, net caps, with lace borders, French white Handkerchiefs, a gauze scarf, a handsome red shawl, a pink crape ditto, a fawn- coloured ditto, with a deep flowered border, six common pocket Handkerchiefs, marked B n, three or four pair of cotton stockings, marked B n, a new diaper Table- cloth, marked J. K. D., one ditto, not marked, a piece of new Diaper, partly made into Towels, two remnants of Irish Linen, and various other articles. Fifty Pounds Reward will be paid on conviction of the offenders and recovery of the property. HORSE AND CATTLE STEALING. Stolen or Strayed, on Friday, the 14th ultimo, from a Field, in the parish of Ashby- de- la- Zouch, a Bay Mare Pony, about thirteen hands high, short cut tail, small feet, a white heel on one of the hind feet, and a small white star in the face.— If stolen, Two Guineas Reward is hereby offered by Mr. W. Sand- lant, of Ashby- de- la- Zouch aforesaid, to any person who will give information that may lead to conviction of the offender or offenders. If strayed, any person restoring the said pony, shall be handsomely rewarded and all reasonable Expenses paid. Stolen, on Monday night, the 24th ultimo, or early the fol- lowing morning, from the Stable of Mr. John Underwood, of Acton Hall, in the county of Suffolk, a Black Nag Gelding, aged, about sixteen hands high, with oft" foot white behind, a dint in. the near side shoulder, carries his fore legs very round when trot- ting and his head high. Also, at the same time, a Bridle, nearly new, with large twisted bits.— Whoever will give information of the offender or offenders, shall, upon his or their conviction, receive Twenty Pounds Reward, on application to the said Mr. John Underwood, Acton Hall, aforesaid. Information to be given to Edmund Wend, police officer, Bury Saint Edmunds. Stolen or Strayed, on Sunday night, the 23d ultimo, or early the following morning, from the Farm- yard of Mr. Thomas Reader, in the parish of Deal, Kent, a Bay Horse, aged, about fourteen hands nigh, and had a sand- crack lately cut out on his fore foot.— If stolen, whoever will give information that may lead to conviction of the offender or offenders, shall receive Three Guineas Reward, by applying to Mr. Thomas Langley, constable, Deal, Kent. Stolen, on Monday night, the 24th ultimo, from out of a stable, in the occupation of Mr. John Markham, of Hanging Houghton, Northamptonshire, an aged bay nag Mare, about fifteen hands high, her near eye rather small and weak, a switch tail, a callousness in the near fore leg, arising from a splint, and a chronic cough. A single curb bridle, a halter, a saddle with one of the flaps loose, and a crupper, were also stolen at the same time. Whoever will apprehend or cause to be brought to justice the offender or offenders so that he or they may be - convicted thereof, shall receive a Reward of Five Guineas of Mr. Charles Markham, Attorney, in Northampton, the Trea- surer of the Walgrave Association, and also a further Reward of Five Guineas from the said John Markham. Stolen or Strayed, on Sunday night, the 16th ultimo, or early the following morning, from a Yard, at Dennerhill, in the parish of Hugendon, in the county of Bucks, a Bay Mare, in foal, about ten years old, about twelve hands high, a short cut tail, marked ' W. • M.' on each shoulder, which cannot be seen without the hair being removed, it being very long, the hoof of the off fore foot is twisted also the frog of same foot, and had on the near fetlock a leg- lock which is likely to rub the hair off. — If stolen, whoever will give information that may lead to conviction of the offender or offenders, shall receive Four Pounds Reward, from Mr. W. J. and G. Bennet, of Temple- Cloud, Somerset, Two Black Mares. They are calculated for riding or drawing, about fourteen hands high, wrung on both shoulders, and a white star in the forehead : one is about seven years old, in foal, and near foot before lately blistered and fired which has left a very plain mark ; the other is rising three years old, has the mark of a cut on her off fore foot across her fetlock joint, and three white feet.— Whoever will give information that may lead to conviction of the offender or offenders, shall receive Ten Pounds Reward, from the said Messrs. Bennet: Five Pounds to be paid on commitment, and the remainder on conviction. Stolen, between the hours of nine o'clock on Wednesday night the 10th ultimo and six o'clock the next morning, from the Stable of Mr. Thorndyke, Jew's- row, Wandsworth, a Black Mare, fourteen hands high, rat tail, and goes strait with the near fore foot: also a Bridle. Stolen, on Sunday night, the 16th ultimo, or early the follow- ing morning, from a Barn, in Duston Field, Northampton, a Bay llorse, aged, nearly fifteen hands high, blaze down the face, near hind heel white, small scar on the off knee, small spavin on the off hock, switch tail, and has been used in drawing.— Five Guineas Reward will be paid, on conviction of the offender or offenders, by applying to Mr. Edward Bosworth, the owner, Queen's Head, Gold- street, Northampton. Stolen, on Monday night, the 17tn ultimo, or early the fol- lowing morning, from the Stable of Mr. John Ablett, of Sur- biton Common, near Kingston, a Dark Bay Gelding, seven years old, about fifteen hands and a half high, with a little white on one fetlock.— Whoever will give information that may lead to conviction of the offender or offenders, shall receive Ten I Pounds Reward from the said Mr. Ablett. Stolen, on Monday night, the 17th ultimo, or early the fol- lowing morning, from the Half- moon Farm Stable, at Cater- ham, Surrey, a Brown Cart Mare, seven years old, about . fifteen hands high, rather low in the back, has a stripe of white down the face, a hrown muzzle, black legs, long tad, and is a very fast walker.— Whoever will give such information as may lead to the discovery of the offender, shall, upon conviction, receive Ten Pounds Reward. Stolen, on Monday night, the 3rd ultimo, from a Pasture, at Tottenhill, in the occupation of Mr. Langford, a Light Chesnut Horse Pony, with long light mane and tail, about twelve hands high, rising five years old, has a saddle- spot about the size of a nut, and a long crack on one of the fore feet.— Whoever will give information that may lead to conviction of the offender or offenders and recovery of the pony, shall receive Three Pounds Reward, by applying to Mr. Langford, Chemist, Lynn. Stolen, on Wednesday moraine, the 12th ultimo, from a Stable, belonging to Mr. John Johnson, of Coddington, near Barn Hill, in the county of Chester, a Brown Gelding, aged, fourteen hands and a half high, one off foot white, long tall, a white mark down his face, grey about his head and under the mat/, and has never been shod on his hind feet.— Also, a Black Mare, rising seven years old, with long tail, one hind foot white, and a white mark down her face.— Whoever will give informa- tion to Mr. Monday, at the County Police Office, Middlewich, as may lead to conviction of the offender or offenders, shall re- ceive Five Pounds Reward. Stolen, on Monday night, the 10th ultimo, or early the fol- lowing morning, from the Stable of Mr. Ransom, of Stainforth, near Doncaster, a Black Mare, with no white marks, rising seven years old, about fourteen hands high, switch tail, and used for % rting and gig : worth £ 18.— Five Pounds Reward will be paid by the said Mr. Ransom, to any person who may give information that may lead to conviction of the offender or offenders. On Wednesday, the 19th ultimo, a Man and Woman, calling themselves WHITEHEAD, hired a Furnished Apartment of Ann Thompson, Widow, No. 15, New- street, New- cut, Lam- beth : the Woman, absconded early on the 1st instant, taking with her two silk Gowns, one drab the other black; also a Counterpane, Table- cloth, Pillow, Blanket, Pillow- case, and other articles, the property of Ann Thompson.— The Man has not been in the house since Sunday last: he is a carver and gilder, has been working in Park- street, Grosvenor- square, is about five feet eight inches high, and sandy hair: the Woman is very tall, of dark complexion, about thirty years of age, had on a ragged gown, a white straw bonnet trimmed with crape, and a puce handkerchief about her neck.— Information to be given at the Police Office, Union Hall. Absconded, on Wednesday evening, the 26th ultimo, about seven o'clock, from the Manor House School, Upper Holloway, MARY O'NEIL, a servant, stealing and taking with her the following property, viz.— A new black dress Coat; a black surtout Coat, double- breasted, torn at the bottom of the pocket outside; a pair of new dark grey Trousers, a pair of new super- fine black kerseymere Trousers, a black single- breasted Waist- coat, and a silk f landkerchief.— She is about nineteen or twenty years of age, tall, and has a red face. RICHARD DODD, late clerk and foreman to Mr. Roberts, Woollen Draper, of No. 9, Marylebone- street, Golden- square, has Absconded, stealing and taking with him two Trusses, con- taining Woollen Cloth, with direction cards on them, the reverse side of these cards has ' Smith and Stevens, Upper Saint Martin's Lane,' printed on them.— The said RICHARD DODD is about thirty- eight or forty years of age, is of mid- dling height, looks rather stupid and heavy in his manners from excessive drinking, light brown hair, bad teeth ( one out in front), his under lip projects a good deal, walks quick, and is slovenly in his appearance.— Fifty Pounds Reward will be paid, on the apprehension of the said RICHARD DODD, on appli- cation to the said Mr. Roberts. JOHN WADSWORTH, a journeyman miller, stands charged with having committed a Felony, at Doncaster, on Saturday, the 15th ultimo.— He is thirty- two years of age, about five feet seven inches high, stout made, light hair, and has had a cut on his upper lip ; was dressed like a miller, in a round fustian or corded jacket, plain fustian trousers, shoes, and black hat. He served his apprenticeship to Mr. John Birch, of Sprotbrough, near Doncaster, miller; but has recently been em- ployed by Mr. Armitage, of Doncaster, at the steam mill, from whence he absconded.— Information to be given to Mr. Wil- liamson Etches, police officer, Doncaster, who will pay all ex- penses incurred in apprehending and detaining the said offender. JOHN BASE, twenty- two years of age, convicted of a Felony, at Reading, on the 31st of December 1833, and sen- tenced to seven years' transportation, made his Escape Irom Woolwich Dock Yard, on Friday, the 14th instant. It is sup- posed he has been supplied with clothing by some person aiding his escape, his own clothes having been left behind. He is a native of Chelsea, has light brown hair, dark eyes, light eye- brows and lashes, common nose and mouth, of fair complexion, round full visage, stout made, five feet seven inches high, said to be married and has two children, can neither read nor write, and by trade a stone- sawyer; marks on body— scar on left cheek, scar on the upper joint of his fore- finger of left hand, and scar on the first joint of thumb on same hand: it is strongly suspected he has been transported before: his relations reside in Chelsea. It has since been ascertained that he worked at his trade of a stone- sawyer, at pimlico, and lodged at the sign of the ' Bag- of- Nails' Public- house, and is well known in that neighbourhood.— Information to be given at the Public Office, Bow- street. CHANDLER, better known by the name of ' DOLLAR.' WINCHURCH stands about five feet four inches high, sallow complexion, black hair, round face, and stout made; had on a blue coat, dark- coloured waistcoat and trowsers, rather wor, and black shag hat. CHANDLER, alias ' DOLLAR,' stands about five feet six inches high, light hair, and a blue mark ( forked) under the forehead, long visage, light complexion, large eyes; had on a light barragan jacket, dark brown barragan trowsers, and dark- coloured waistcoat, an old black silk hat ( apparently not his own nor a fit), and he had rather a long beard : both are miners. Any person apprehending and lodging them in any of His Majesty's Gaols, shall receive Five Pounds Reward, upon application to Mr. Richard Diggory, Constable, of Wolverhampton. MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATIONS During the night of Saturday the 22d or Sunday the 23d ultimo, a considerable Quantity of Underwood, growing in the Woods of Sir Charles Farnaby, Bart., at Wickham, in Kent, principally of Spanish Chesnut, of about three years' growth, was unlawfully Destroyed, and between two and three thousand Shoots maliciously Broken off.— Any information respecting the same is requested to be given at the Public Office, Bow- street. Escaped from custody, at Wolverhampton, two men, charged with Burglary, named PAUL WINCHURCH, and WILLIAM PROPERTY STOLEN. Stolen, on Friday evening, the 28th ultimo, a brass- bound mahogany Case, about fifteen inches long and five wide, con- taining a set of Cupping Instruments, maker's name ' Weiss.' The property of Mr. Johnston, of No. 44, Marshall- street, Golden- square.— By a Man, about twenty- five years of age, about five feet six inches high, of dark complexion, fresh coloured, and dressed in a dark frock coat. About the 26th of September 1833, a Bag of German Wool, addressed to ' Mr. C. H. Robinson, Leeds,' and marked 5399, weighing three hundred weight and fifteen pounds, including the tare and draft, was, with two other Bags, sent by Mr. H. P. Backler, to Neal's Wharf, to be shipped by the ' Enterprize' Steamer, for Hull. It was put on board a Barge, to be taken to the ' Enterprize,' in the Stream ; and it is suspected that it was stolen from the Barge, as it was missed on the arrival of the vessel at Hull, and is still missing. Stolen, on Sunday, the 23d ult., from the person of a Ladv, whilst coming out of Hammersmith Church, an old Gold Watch, chased, and marked on the back in a circle ' M. E.'— — Information to be given at the Police Station, No. 1, Church- court, Kensington. Found, in the possession of HENRY MORRIS, and JOHN PARKER, the following articles, suspected to have been stolen, viz.— A rosewood Tea- chest, wooden handles, and inlaid with white wood; two Shifts, nearly new, marked ' S. W.'; three child's white muslin. Frocks with worked bodies, a lilac striped child's Frock, a child's Night- gown, two ditto cotton Petticoats, a ditto flannel Wrapper, a ditto linen Shirt, a ditto worked Cap with lace, two ditto Pinafores, a muslin Window- curtain, and two yards of Tape.— Application to be made at Marylebone Police Office. Lost, supposed to be Stolen, sometime in January last, a Gentleman's stout gold Watch- chain, with large links, and a Foxes head at the end; one of the links has been perforated to tiy the gold.— Any person giving such information as will lead to conviction of the offender or offenders and recovery of the chain, shall receive Five Pounds Reward." Supposed to be Stolen, on Sunday evening, the 2nd instant, about eight o'clock, from Brunswick Cottage, Hornsey- road, a metal Watch, engine- turned, plain face, and winds up in front; with two gold Seals ( one engraved ' Hope and Anchor,' the other a Head) and a Key attached : also a silver Table- spooD, crest, a Goat's Head. Found, in the possession of a Woman, now in custody, Twenty- one Sovereigns, and Thirty- two Shillings in silver. Supposed to have been stolen.— Apply at the Police- station, Rosoman- street, Clerkenwell. Stolen, on Saturday evening, the 1st inst., from the Factory of Messrs. Wells and Co., Southampton- mews, Euston- square, a quantity of Horse- hair Seating, from eighteen to thirty- two inches in width, in paper parcels.— The felony was effected by the parties concealing themselves on the premises in the day- time, and from the marks of violence on the inside of the door, they were obliged to force their way out; a crow- bar was found broken to pieces. Stolen, on Sunday evening, the 2nd instant, between six and eight o'clock, from the House of Mrs. Pearcy, Calico- buildings, Bermondsey, the following articles, viz.— Six silver Tea- spoons, a gold Pin, a silver Thimble, an Umbrella, a black silk Gown- piece ( ten yards), a brown merino Gown, two cotton ditto, a large dark Shawl, a green silk ditto, and a white Cap ; also one Pound two Shillings and Sixpence, in money. Further particulars relating to JOHN LINCOLN CUN- NINGHAM, who left his home, in the neighbourhood of Peck- ham, on Monday morning, the 17th ultimo.— It has since been ascertained that he has taken with him a large sum of Money, belonging to his Employers.— Any person giving such informa- tion as will lead to his apprehension and conviction, shall be handsomely rewarded. Stolen, on Monday morning, the 3rd instant, from No. II, Tavistock- row, Covent- garden, a tortoise- shell Watch, the name ' Appleton ' engraved on the inner case, maker's name ' Scre- gington '; with a metal Key, attached by a black ribbon. Stolen, from the Garden of Mrs. M'Clune, No. 4, Tredegar- square, Bow- road, the following articles, viz.— Two Shirts, one flannel Night- gown marked ' M'Clune', three children's Night- gowns, a cotton Gown, three Aprons, a Table- cloth marked ' S. M'Clune', ten Napkins, and a Shift. Stolen, on Monday evening, the 3rd instant, between seven and nine o'clock, from the Hall of Mr. Swain, . Surgeon, No. 18, Arlington street, Sadlers'- wells, a large superfine Cloak, five yards wide, with velvet collar, and lined with black silk in front and red serge behind. Stolen, on Monday night, the 3rd inst., from No. 4, Church- street, Kensington, a small Tunbridge- ware Box containing two Sovereigns: the property of Mrs. Cox.— By a Woman who had been lodging with her a few days: she is about thirty years of age, dark complexion, dark hair and eyes, tall and stout, and has a red mark on the left side of her face; was dressed in a half- mourning cotton gown, black silk bonnet lined with crape, and a black silk and cotton shawl with coloured border.— In formation to be given at the kPolice Station, Church- court, Kensington. Stolen, on Tuesday afternoon, the 25th ultimo, about one o'clock, from the person of Mrs. Allen, of No. 16, Grove- lane, Camberwell, whilst crossing the Fields, in company with a young Lady, towards Dulwich, a Reticule, containing the fol- lowing property, viz.— Two Sovereigns, twenty- two Shillings in silver, a Five- shilling- piece, a Shilling with a hole through it, a silver Pencil- case, a gold Chain with locket attached, and a white cambric Handkerchief marked ' E. M. C. A.'— By a Man who was sitting on a stile at the bottom of Green- lane, leading from Champion- hill, who, on their arrival, sprung up and seized the reticule, which Mrs. Allen was carrying in her hand. He is of middle stature, pale complexion, and prominent nose; was dressed in a short green coat and dirty jean trousers : he went in the direction of Denmark- hill. Stolen, on Thursday, the 27th ultimo, from the person of Mr. John Willy, one Bank of England Note, for the payment of Twenty Pounds,' No. 6618,' dated 22d January, 1834 : and one Ditto for the payment of Five Pounds, ' No. 14461,' dated 24th December, 1833.— Five Pounds Reward will be paid by Mr. Willy, on recovery of the notes and conviction of the party or parties concerned in stealing them. Stolen, on Wednesday, the 26th ultimo, from the Premises of Mr. Bunkin, in Berner's- street, Commercial- road, the fol- lowing articles, viz.— A fustian shooting Jacket; a brown silk Umbrella, with a bone handle; a quantity of stair Carpeting; several yards of merino Curtains; and a white cotton Shawl, with a flower figure. Stolen, on Tuesday evening, the 25th ultimo, between five and six o'clock, from the Counting- house of Mr. New, Livery Stable Keeper, Bury- street, Bloomsbury, the following articles, viz.— A blue cloth Cloak, lined with red, and red plush collar ; a brown Petersham Great Coat, with velvet collar; and a brown silk Umbrella.
