POLICE OR, HUE Vuiiltefirtt t> « GAZETTE; AND CRY. No. 403. J SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 1831. Containing the Substance of all Informations received in Cases of Felonies, and Misdemeanors of an aggravated nature, and against Receivers of ^ Stolen Goods, reputed Thieves and Offenders escaped from Custody, with the time, the place, and every particular circumstance marking the Offence. The Names of Persons charged, who are known but not in Custody, and of those who are not known, their Appearance, Dress, and every other mark of identity that can be described. The Names of Accomplices and Accessories, with every other particular which may lead to their Apprehension. The Names of all Persons brought before the Magistrates, charged with any of the Offences mentioned, and whether committed for Trial, Re- examination, or how otherwise disposed of. Also a Description of Property that has been Stolen, and particularly of Stolen Horses, with as much particularity as can be given, with every circumstance that may be useful for the purpose of Tracing and Recovering it. As no charge is made for the insertion of Articles relating to Stolen Property in the Police Gazette and Hue and Cry, all Letters addressed to the Editor upon that subject, are requested to be post- paid. MURDER, AND MALICIOUSI. Y SHOOTING OR. ROBBING, WhitehaLL, November 14th, 1831. Whereas it > 5* 11 bee-, humbly represented unto the King, that on I1. - afterne , n of Saturday, the 5th day of November insta -. w. z dead body of a Boy, since discovered lo be an Its'/ j, was taken to the dissecting- room of ihe King's Col- I' by four men, and there offered for sale to the Demon- •/ . ator of Anatomy, for the purpose of dissection ; and that, '< wing to the peculiar appearance of the body, together with other circumstances, inducing the belief that it had never been interred, but had been cruelly deprived of life for the above purpose, a Coroner's Inquest was subsequently held upon the same, when the Jury returned a verdict of Wilful Murder against some person or persons unknown : His Majesty, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the persons concerned in the Murder before men tioned, is hereby pleased to promise His most gracious Pardon to any one of them ( except the person or persons who actually committed or assisted in the perpetration of the said Murder) who shall discover his Accomplice or Accomplices therein, so that he, she, or they, may be appre hended and convicted thereof: And, as a further encouragement, a Reward of Two Hundred Pounds is hereby offered to any person ( except as aforesaid) who shall discover the said offender or offenders, so that he, she, or they, may he apprehended and convicted of the said offence.— Such Reward lo be paid by the Right Honourable the Lords Commissioners of His Majesty's Treasury. MELBOURNE. On Saturday night, tbe 22d ultimo, some person or per- sons violently assaulted beat and ill- treated John Morris, 011 the King's highway, at Gold's Hill, in the parish of West Uromwich, in the county of Stafford ; and the said John Morris having since died from the effects of the injury he then sustained, and an adjourned Coroner's Inquest being now pendinsr, in order to ascertain the person or persons who perpetrated the Murder of the said John Morris,— JOHN ASHTON, lale of Gold's Hill, aforesaid, iron- roll turner, who has since Absconded, being suspected as the person who committed the offence, a Reward of FSrty Pounds will be paid to any person or persons who will ap- prehend and deliver the said JOHN ASHTON to Charles Starkey, constable of the parish of West Bromwich afore- said.— JOHN ASHTON is about twenty- three years old, live feet eight inches high, dark eyes, rather of a sallow complexion, dark hair, broad set, and had on, when he Ab- sconded, a bottle- green coloured frock coat, and has a pecu- liar manner of walking, carrying himself in an upright and straight position, with his arms fixed downwards. ARSON AND WILFUL, BURNING. WHITEHALL, October 18th, 1831. Whereas it hath been humbly represented unto the King, That, on the night of Monday, the 10th day of October instant, a large body of Men proceeded, in a riotous and tu- multuous manner, to Nottingham Castle, the property of his Grace the Duke of Newcastle, and. alter committing various acts of depredation, maliciously and feloniously set Fire to the same, whereby it was totally consumed : His Majesty, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the persons concerned in the Felony before men- • 1 ioned, is hereby pleased to promise His most gracious Pardon to any one of them ( except the person who actually set Fire to the said Properly) who shall discover his Accom- plice or Accomplices therein, so that he, she, or they, may be apprehended and convicted thereof: And, as a futther encouragement, a Reward of Five Hun- dred Pounds is hereby offered by the Right Honourable the Lords Commissioners of His Majesty's Treasury, to anv person ( except as aforesaid) who shall discover the said offender or offenders, so that he, she. or they, may be appre- hended and convicted of the said offence. MELBOURNE. On Tuesday night, the 25th instant, about nine o'clock, a Barn containing Corn, and also Six Stacks of Corn stand- ins in the Yard, at Siddington Hall Farm, in the township of Siddington, and parish of Prestbury, in the county of Chester, were maliciously set on Fire, by some person or persons unknown.— Whosoever will give such information as may lead to the discovery of such person or persons, shall receive Two Hundred Pounds Reward, on conviction of the offender or offenders, by application to Mr. Burgess, county police officer, Macclesfield. On Saturday night, the 5th instant, or early on the follow- ing morning, some person or persons wilfully and malici- ously set fire to two Stacks of Corn, the properly of Obndiah riobbs, of West Hoatley, in county of Sussex.— Twenty Pounds Reward is offered to any person who will discover the offender or offenders, on his her or their conviction ; which will be paid by Mr. Obadiah Hobbs.— Information to be given at the Police Office, Union Flail. HOUSE- BREAKING. On Monday night, tho 21st instant, the House of Richard Heaviside, Esq., No. 15, Brunswick- sqnare, Brighton, was broken and entered, and the following articles Stolen there- from, viz. — One pearl Necklace, Ear- rings, Bracelets, and Brooch ; one garnet and pearl Necklace, Ear- rings, Cross, and Brooch ; a gold Necklace with chrysophas clasp, Ear- rings, and Bracelet, sevignee ; a gold Genoa Chain and Earrings; a gold English ditto; a large Cameo Bracelet, set in gold ; a Mosaic Bracelet, design tho Ruins of Rome; a gold Bracelet, with an onyx in the centre ; two gold Bracelets, with turquoise clasps; a gold Bracelet, with pink topaz clasp ; a diamond hoop Ring ; two pearl ditto, and several others ; a gold Cross ; a set of Coral; one Mosaic Brooch ; a pair of Ear- rings, emeralds and rubies; several unset Cameos ; a large gilt hair Comb ; and a pearl ditto. — Whoever will give such information so as to lead to the discovery of the property and conviction of the offenders, shall receive Twenty Pounds Reward, by applying at the Police Office. , Brighton. On Wednesday, the 23d inslant, between twelve and one o'clock, the House of Mr Fielder, No. 17, South Parade, Chelsea, was broken and entered, and the following articles Stolen therefrom, viz — A small Case Clock, maker's name ' Foster, London'; a black Cotton Gown, a pair of Welling- ton Boots, and a Pocket- book, containing Duplicates, Re- ceipts for Rent, & c. On Wednesday night, the 23d instant Beech Hill House, in the parish of Woking, the residence of W. P. Jervis, Esq., was broken and entered, and, amongst oilier articles, the following of a particular description, were Stolen, viz.— One pair of old- fashioned small Silver Candlesticks, square pattern ; a very curious antique Silver Spoon, straight solid handle wilh a small solid figure at the top, bearing a shield with the date ( 1664) engraved 011 it— the figure appears to have been gilt at some time ; a very thick round old- fashion- ed Gold Watch, the outer case of tortoise- shell, with gold rim and sluds round the face; a Silver Scent- box, contain- ing small barrel wilh silver hoops; and a small size or Boy's Violin — One Hundred Pounds Reward will he paid by the said W. P. Jervis, Esq., to any personwho will give such information as may lead to the apprehension and conviction of the offender or offenders. On Thursday evening, the 24tli instant, about six o'clock, the House of Mr. Henry Edwards, No. 6, Stanhope- place, Southwark, was broken and entered, at the parlour window, and the following property was Stolen therefrom, viz.— A Rosewood Work- box, containing among other Memoran- dums, about Twenty Pounds worth of Duplicates, received by Mr. Edwards as security. On Sunday nitht, the 20th instant, the Dwelling- house of Richard Halt, the sign of the ' Golden Hart,' in Phoenix- street, Spitallields, was broken and entered, and the follow- ing Property Stolen, viz.— One Time- piece, maker's name ' Henry Reeves,' mahogany case, and brass lacquered pil- lars and feet; one light brown Coat; one pair of light drab Kerseymere Trousers, nearly new ; one pair of Black ditto, very good ; one black Waislcoat, nearly new ; one pair of Wellington Boots; two Cotton Shirts, linen collars and wristbands; one Red Morocco Pocket- book, containing a very curious Razor, with copper handle ; three pair of cotton Stockings ; a Shaving- box aiuf brush ; two spotted Buff Muslin Handkerchiefs; two Cotton Pocket . ditto, red and yellow pattern, very large ; and one black and white Hand- kerchief.— Information lo be given to Thomas Waters, at Worship- street Office. On Monday night, the 21st instant, or early the following morning, the Premises of Mr. John Hawksworth, No. 32, Park street, Islington, were broken and entered, at the back kitchen window, and the following ariicles were Stolen therefrom, viz.— One silver handle Fork, marked ' J. E. H.' Silver: one pair of Sugar- tongs, two Table- spoons, one Dessert- spoon, and five Tea- spoons, marked * J. E. H.'; two Salt- spoons; two Table- spoons, marked ' J. A.', engraved handles; and three Thimbles. Two plated Spoons, two Cruets with silver tops, two Scent- bottles mounted with sil- ver, a mother- of- pearl Box mounted with silver, and sundry work- box Trinkets ; one large damask Table- cloth, a diaper ditto ditto ; one metal Watch, name ' Joseph Hawksworth'; small quantity of Tea ; a dark brown Great Coat; a brown Hat, modern shape ; and about three Shillings in silver aud copper monies. On Sunday evening, the 20th instant, between six and eight o'clock, the House of Mr. Thomas O'Northkin, No. 15, Norfolk Street, Mile End Road, was entered, by means of skeleton keys, and the following articles Stolen therefrom, viz.— Two silver Salts, a ditto Pepper- box, one Tea- caddy Spoon, pair of silver Sugar- tonus, and a crape Sbawl. The property of Mr. O'Northkin.— Also, a black silk Dress, a black lace Scarf, a fawn- colour ctape Shawl, one gold Ring with hair, a ditto Mourning- ring marked ' Charles Clay,' a silver Smelling- bottle. with case, a large Table- cloth, a sil- ver Milk- pot, and a silk Umbrella. The property of Mrs. Clay, who occupies the first floor.— Also, two Shirts, a silk Handkerchief marked ' A. C.', a gold Pin with a turquoise stone, a steel Neckchain, a pair of handsome steel ClaSps, and a light Waisicoat, buff ground and coloured/ lowers. HORSE ATO CATTLE STEALING. On tbe morning of the 18th inslant, a Black Mare, five years old, about fourteen hands high, with a star in the fore- head, a long back, and switch tail, together with a Saddle aud Headstall Halter, were stolen from the premises of Joseph Kincb, of Bucknell Lodge.— Any person who shall give such inform . tion as will lead to the conviction of the offender or offenders, shall receive a Reward of Thirteen Guineas from Mr. Holloway, Solicitor and Treasurer to the Ambrosden Association for the Prosecution of Felons, and a further. Reward of Seven Guineas from the said Joseph Kincb. Stolen, on Tuesday night, the 22d instant, from a Stable belonging to George Upson, at Acton, near Sudbury, a bright Bay Pony, between thirteen and fourteen hands high, with a white. star 011 the forehead, long tail, and wide in the feet; also a Saddle am; Bridle.— Five Pounds Reward will be paid upon recovery of the property and conviction of the offender. # 1514 POLICE GAZETTE; OR, HUE AND CRY. I Stolen or Strayed, between the 8th and 11th of October Inst, from a Field, in the Garrison- lane, in the parish of Aston, near Birmingham, a Bay Horse, of the Nag kind, five years old, about fourteen hands high, switch tail, white hind feet, blaze down the face, and a small scar on the oft' knee, which is rather larger than the other.— If Strayed, whoever will give information that will lead to the recovery of the said Horse, shall be handsomely rewarded and all reasonable expenses paid ; if Stolen, Five Pounds Reward, on conviction of the offender or offenders. Apply to Mr. W. Flavell, batcher. High- street, Deritend ; or Mr. Brownell, Prison Keeper, Aston, Birmingham, Warwickshire. Stolen or Strayed, from a Field, on Cornhill Cross, near Leek, on Tuesday night the 1st instant, or early the follow- ing morning, a Black Mare, of the Hackney kind, stands about fifteen hands high, six yftars old, has a short switch tail, rough mane and coat, with a white spot on the hind near foot. She had her legs shaved a few months ago, and the hair has not grown again to the usual length, and her feet are rather fiat; the property of Mr. F. West, Butcher, Leek. If strayed, whoever will restore her to the owner, shall be handsomely rewarded ; but if stolen, any person giving such information of the offender or offenders to Mr. Francis West aforesaid, or to Mr. Alcock, Constable of Leek, as may lead to his or their conviction, shall receive a Reward of Five Pounds from the owner. t Stolen or Strayed, on Monday morning, the 14th instant, from a Field of Captain Wight's, at Ditton, Surrey, a rusty Black Horse Pony, rising seven years old, about thirteen hands high, long mane, the part at the wither rubbed by the collar, and a lonjt silver tail.— Any person who will tiring the said Pony to Mr. Thomas Daws, at Pyrford near Ripley, Surrey, shall, on conviction of the offender, receive Five Pounds Reward. On Tuesday night, the 8th instant, a Brown Horse, the property of Joseph Gosnay, of Field House, near Wake- field, was Stolen out of a Field, at Newton. The Horse is about sixteen hands high, rising three years old, black legs, small white mark on the forehead, rather lower- eared, and had a long tail.— Whoever will give such information of the offender or offenders, shall, upon conviction, receive Ten Pounds Reward and all Expenses, from the said Joseph Gosnay.— Also, on the same night, an aged Brown Horse, the property of Joseph Brummitt, of Newton, near Wake- field, was Stolen out of a Field, near the said place. The Horse is about fourteen hands high, rather low in his back, a little white on the hind legs, off fore foot black and the other brown with a little white, and he has been bored in his fun- daoient.-- One Guinea Reward will be given by the said J. Brummitt, on his receiving information that will lead to the conviction of the offender or offenders. A Man, who calls himself HARRY POTTEE ( supposed to be a feigned name), is detained in the parish of Tiden- ham, in the county ol Gloucester, with a Dark Brown Cart Gelding, supposed to have been Stolen.— The Man is about five feet seven inches high, a small mark on the right cheek, and sandy whiskers, says he is a labourer, born at Frome, Somerset, and has lately resided at Bath ; he had on, when apprehended, a dark coal, dark striped waistcoat, light ker- seymere pantaloons, and Wellington boots. He is commit- ted to Little Dean Gaol for further examination on Wed- nesday, the 16th instant.— The Horse is rising six years old, three legs entirely black, around the near leg behind there is a little white below the fetlock joint, a small star in the forehead, some small scars on his neck from galls of the collar, a few grey hairs in the part of the mane where the collar has rubbed, is between fifteen and sixteen hands higlv- his tail has the appearance of having been disfigured by being cut with a knife, and is an active useful kind of cart horse.— Further particulars may be known and the Horse seen, at the George Inn, Stroat, in the parish of Tidenham : and by applying to Mr. Lucas, Solicitor, Newnham, Glou- cestershire. Stolen or Strayed, on Monday evening, the 14th instant, about seven o'clock, from the door of a Ueer Shop, in Belle Isle, Maiden Lane, a Horse and Brick Cart: name on the Cart ' Daniel Morris, No. 2, Hope's- place, Whilechapel- road, opposite the London Hospital.' Stolen, on Wednesday, the 9th instant, from a Close near Newport Pagnell, a Bay Pony, about twelve hands high, with four black legs; the off ear has a small bit cut off; the off knee has been broken; and on the near ear a small slit cut.— There is a brand on the near hind quarter, and a mark of the saddle ; and he has a switch tail.— The property of George Rogers, Butcher, of Silver- street, Newport Pagnell. Stolen, on Monday night, the 31st ultimo, or early the fol- lowing morning, from a field in the parish of Pulham, St. Mary the Virgin, in the county of Norfolk, a Chesnut Cart Mare, rising four years old, full mane and tail, star on her forehead, and was chafed with the collar on the near shoul- der.— Whoever will give such information as will lead to the conviction of the offender or offenders, shall receive Five Pounds Reward, on application to Mr. Robert Burgess, of Pulham aforesaid, or Samuel Davy, Constable of Harlcston. Nottingham, and situated in the parish of Bridgeford, in the said county, a Blood Horse, bright buy, about fifteen hands and a half high, the knees a little broken, a slight blemish on the near fore fetlock, has been fired neatly on the off hind leg, no hair on a small blemish upon the oft' hind thigh, a small patch of white on the side of the near heel, short tail, and fore legs bunged with bard work. Stolen, on Friday night, the 11th instant, from a Field, at Holloway, a sorrel Chesnut Pony, about twelve hands liiarh, rising nine years, with a white star on the forehead, short tail, touched in the wind, fresh shod, and limps from having corns in a fore foot. Stolen or Strayed, on Thursday night, the 10th instant, or early the following morning, from Saint Ann's Farm, East India Road, a Dark Brown Mare, with black legs, a star on the forehead, a scar on the off hip, and has two bar- shoes on the fore feet. The property of Mr. William Marchant, of the said Farm. Stolen or Strayed, on the night of the 5th instant, or early on the following morning, from a Field belonging to Mr. P. Jefferies, of Bulkington, near Devizes, a Bright Bay Cart Horse, in good condition, fifteen and a half hands high, rising seven years old, with a star in his forehead, a few white hairs on the tail, find a white mark on one of the hind fetlocks. Whoever will give such information as will lead to the con- viction of the off< jnder or offenders, if stolen, shall receive Ten Guineas Reward, by applying to Mr. P. A Person who said his name was JOHN BELL, hired a Mare, the property of Cecil Wray, Carr Lane, Hull, on the 13th of October, which he has not returned, and is supposed to have stolen the same. Whoever may have her in charge, by giving information to Mr. Cecil Wray, No. 15, Carr Lane, Hull, will receive Five Pounds Reward on convic- tion of the offender. Escaped, on Tuesday evening, the 1st instant, about nine o'clock, from the custody of Mr. William Alcock, constable of Leek, Staffordshire, THOMAS BRUNT. He is about thirty years of age, five feet six inches high, broad set, of swarthy complexion, and rather round shouldered ; had on, when he escaped, a blue straight cut coat with gilt buttons, barragan trousers, and striped waistcoat. He was groom in a gentleman's service, but has lately married, and set up business as a horse- breaker, at Havley, in the Staffordshire Potteries. At the time he escaped, he stood committed to Stafford Gaol, charged with Stealing, at Oncote Wasbech, on the 8th ultimo, a Brown Horse, the property of Mr. W. Simkin, and at the time of his apprehension he confessed to the offence.— Whoever will apprehend the said offender, and lodge him > n any of His Majesty's Gaols, shall receive Five Guineas Reward, and all reasonable Expenses paid.— Information to be given to the said Mr. Alcock. Whereas it hath been humbly represented unto the King that, about ten o'clock on the morning of Sunday the 9th day of October instant, a large number of persons pro cecded, in a riotous and tumultuous manner, to the Jail for the borough of Derby, the doors of which they forced open, and feloniously set at liberty the prisoners who were con fined therein ; His Majesty, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the persons concerned in the Felony before men- tioned, is hereby pleased to promise His most gracious Par- don to any one of them who shall discover his Accomplice or Accomplices therein, so that he, she, or they, may be apprehended and convicted thereof : And, as a further encouragement, a Reward of One Hundred Pounds is hereby offered to any person who shall discover the said offender or offenders, so that he, she, or they, may be apprehended and convicted of the said of- fence.— Such Reward to be paid by the Right Honourable the Lords Commissioners of His Majesty's Treasury. MELBOURNE. INFORMATIONS WILLIAM AILLEY, who stands chanted with divers felonies in the parish of Roxwell, near Chelmsford, has escaped from justice. He was surprised in the night, rob liing a barn, and received a severe contusion on one side ol his face from his own bludgeon, wrested from him by the farmer he was robbing.— The culprit is a gardener by trade, about forty- seven years of age, live feet nine inches high, fresh complexion, light brown curly hair, grey eyes, good visage, wiih a mole on the right cheek ; has been a soldier in the Foot Guards, convicted of Felony at Chelmsford in 1819, received judgment of seven years'transportation, and was on board the ' Laurel ' Hulk, at Gosport. WILLIAM CHAPPELL, of Yatton Keynell, publican, and ISAAC FRY, of Castle Combe, labourer, on Thursday, the 24th instant, escaped from custody, when under com- mittal on a charge of Horse- stealing, at Castle Combe, in Wiltshire.— A Reward of Five Pounds will be paid to any person who will apprehend cither of the said persons, and give information thereof to Mr. Thomas Child, Constable, of Castle Combe, near Chippenham, Wiltshire.— The above- named WILLIAM CHAPPELL is about five feet five inches in height, light cumplexionand hair, st ut, and about thirty years old ; was mounted, when he escaped, on a neat bay Horse, about fifieen and a quarter hands high, supposed to be glandered.— FRY is about five feetfour inches, slighter made, dark hair, has lost a tooth in front, and wore, when he escaped, a dark cloth shooting jackct; was on foot, and handcuffed. On the 17th of November instant, being Brecknock Fair Day, a Man, who gave his name WILLIAM JONES, and answers the following description, attempted to play the common hoax of displacing real Bank Notes, and substi- tuting brown paper or fictitious Notes in the room of them, in the pocket- book of a Farmer, named Morgan Powell, whom he Jiad seen receiving a sum of money tor cattle sold, and placing them in his book, and was foiled in his scheme by the shrewdness of the Welshman, who had bim appre- hended and carried before the Magistrates. Mr. Bradford, the Police- Officer and Town Jailor, on searching him, found on his person some Notes of Banks which had stopped pay- ment for a considerable time, and certain fictitious Bank Notes, called Flash Notes, purporting to be drawn by the Banks of Fashion, Elegance, Utility, & c , amounting to £ 1,325, the greater part purporting to be for One Hundred Pounds each.— He gave several most contradictory accounts of himself, which proved fallacious, and he was committed to the House of Correction as a rogue and vagabond, on the 18th of November, for fourteen days.— He left a Mare, described below, at Hay, fifteen miles from Brecknock, and rode a Horse, which he hired of the landlord of the Swan Inn there, to Brecknock.— The Mare has been since brought to the latter place, and remains at Mr. Webb's, the George Inn. — He is five feet seven inches high, has dark brown hair, grey eyes, small face and nose, much pock- marked. Had on a drab great coat, superfine snuff- coloured lapelle coat, drab small- clothes, and top- boots. He has a very sharp look : has lived in the London- road, Borough, with ahorse- dealer; states he was born at Kensington; but is supposed to be a countryman. He knows many horse- dealers in Gloucester- shire, where lie states he has lately lived.— The Mare is a dark bay, aged, four black legs, fifteen hands one inch high, a white star in the forehead, off knee a little blemished, short tail, a little injured by the saddle on the off side, a small white spot on the near side. A person of the name of THOMAS FENSOM, a native of Hemel Hempsted, Herts, is wandering about, in different: parts of England, collecting alms, by means of a fictitious Petition, purporting to be signed by several Magistrates- and Clergymen in that neighbourhood, particularly by the Rev. Mr. Mountain, the Rev. Mr. Moore Halsey, and others. This notice is inserted, as it may be the means of bringing the offender to justice. On Sunday evening, the 20th instant, the Dwelling- house of Thomas James, No. 1, New Rutland- street, Stepney- fields, was entered at the back, by a tall and rather stout Man, who had something black over his face.— Elizabeth James, the daughter of the occupier of the house, was as- saulted by the Man, who placed his hand upon her mouth, and threatened to murder her if she made any alarm, or betrayed him. He afterwards dragged her to the back door, and after striking her two blows on the head, made his, escape.— He had a wide mouth, and was dressed in dark, coloured clothes. On the 3rd instant, about nine o'clock in the morning, a Boy, named EDWARD COOK, of High street, Blackwall, aged eight years, was sent by his grandmother, with a Sove- reign, to the City, to pay a Printer's bill. He was last seen about half- past nine o'clock the same morning, talking with a genteel looking Man, near Limehouse Church. He never arrived at the Printer's, and has not been heard of since.— He was dressed in a brown jacket, corduroy waistcoat and trousers, laced half- boots, blue worsted stockings, white linen shirt, woollen cloth cap with leathern front; he has light hair, of a fair complexion, with a mark on his check under his left eye. Stolen, on Sunday, the 20th instant, between Brentford and London, from the person of Sarah Hart ( of No. 4, Cambridge- street, Golden- square), whilst she was outside a Stage Coach, an old Silver Watch, double case, with bull's- eye glass, and maker's name ' Stephen CranbrOoK, Dover, No. 1406'; also a Purse, containing about two pounds in money. On Tuesday, the 22d instant, Forty- five Sovereigns and Half- sovereigns, one Half- guinea, and a French Napoleon, were Stolen from the sign of the ' Crown and Shuttle,' in Shoreditch.
