I HAVE the honour to acquaint you, that no Jesuit or member of a religious order residing in the city and county of Norwich has been registered at my office, in pursuance of the provisions of the tenth of His present Majesty; but I have to add, that at the last quarter sessions a house in the parish of St. Giles in this city was registered as a Catholic chapel, or place of religious worship for Roman Catholics; and that John Leadbitter was then registered as the priest of the said chapel.
