? AGUES BELONGING TO THE CHURCH IN IRELAND. CASHEL PROVINCE. N* 10.— Dioceses of CASHEL AND EMLY: LANDS holden by lease under the Archbishop A. K. P, and Dignitaries of the two Chapters - - - 13,372 3 22* Old Glebe lands belonging to various Benefices - 545 3 14 Total - - 13,918 2 36 * Of which 1,038. 2R. 20 p. are supposed to be mountainous and unprofitable. There are other lands annexed to several Benefices for which a rack rent, and in some cases an exorbitant one, is paid by the Incumbents. These amount to 423 A. 2 R. 36 p. The number of acres here given I do not consider as correct; it is, however, the best Account which I possess, and the best which my predecessors seemed capable of obtaining without an actual survey.
