AGUES BELONGING TO THE CHURCH IN IRELAND. N° 9— Dioceses of FERNS AND LEIGHLIN— continued. Diocese of FERNS— continued. 37.— Parishes of Ardemine and Donamore : No Glebe lands in these Parishes. A true copy, which I attest, P. Preston, Registrar diocese Ferns,. 38 Parish of Owenduffe : THERE is no land in this Parish held under the See of Leighlin and Ferns, nor is there any Glebe. The whole Parish formerly belonged to the Abbot and Monks of Tintern Abbey, and at the suppression of the monasteries was granted, together with the tithes, to the ancestor of of Cassar Colclough, Esq. in whose possession the whole of the tithes and the greater part of the land are at present. Richd Bentley Gordcn. 40.— Parish of Moyacomb : THERE is neither Glebe or Church land in this Parish; there is one townland in the Parish, named Abbey- down, which does not pay tithe, and which is considered to have belonged origi- nally to the church. William Batt, of Belfast, under the See of Ferns; viz. Tho' Jones, jun. MYSELF and brothers hold under the Bishop of Ferns, of the See lands of Leighlin and Ferns, 97 acres, 3 roods, and 10 perches, being a part of the townland of Monemore. A RETURN of the number of acres held by the representatives of the late Ebenezer Radford Rowe, Esq. in the county of Wexford, and diocese of Ferns, under the said See. Poolmanagh - - - 133 A. 2 R. 32 P. R. A. Kidd, Receiver of said lands. A true copy, which I attest, P. Preston, Registrar diocese Ferns, and Agent.
