45 DIOCESES OF DUBLIN AND GLANDELAGII— continued. An Account of any Measures which may have been adopted by the Commissioners of First Fruits in Ireland, within the last Twenty Years, for effecting a more exact Valuation of the Benefices contributing thereto, and including therein such Benefices as have not here- tofore been valued for that purpose. THE Archbishop is not aware of any measures which have been adopted by the Commissioners of First Fruits, within the period and for the purpose inquired of above. An Account of the several Parishes which have been united under the authority of the Lord Lieutenant and Council of Ireland, from the ist day of January 1818 ; specifying the date of such Orders of Council, and the names of the Parishes united, and the Diocese in which they are situated. NONE under the authority above mentioned. An Account of the several Parishes which have been disunited under the authority of the Lord Lieutenant and Council of Ireland, from the ist day of January 1818; specifying the date of such Orders of Council, and the names of the Parishes disunited in these Dioceses. NONE by the authority above mentioned; but the parish ofMalabide was separated from the Union of Swords, by episcopal authority, in the year 1822 ; and the parish of Lucan was separated from the Union of Leixlip, pursuant to the Act of 11th and 12th George the Third, in the same year. An Account of all Unions of Parishes now subsisting, effected by episcopal authority; specifying the number of Parishes, and whether Vicarages or Rectories, and the date of commencement of such Union, and the estimated extent of the Parishes so united, with the name of the Bishop by whom such Union has been authorized. TIMOLIN UNION :— Consisting of four parishes; viz. Timolin a vicarage, Belan a vicarage, Moone a vicarage, and Ilathtool a vicarage; they are contiguous to each other; the estimated extent of the Union from east to west is about seven miles, and from north to south about one mile and a half. Episcopally united time immemorial. 1 CASTLEDERMOT UNION:— Consisting of six parishes; viz. Castlederinot, otherwise Trisdle- dermot, a vicarage; Graney, a vicarage; Ballaghmoon, a vicarage ; Monmohemock, a vicarage; Grangerosnolvin, otherwise Grangemonoghorum, a vicarage ; episcopally united time immemorial. Kilkea, a vicarage, united to the Union of Castlederrnot in 1794, by Robert Archbishop of Dublin ; they are contiguous to each other; the estimated extent from east to west is about six miles, from north to south four miles. DONAGHBATE UNION :— Consisting of two parishes; viz. Donaghbate, a vicarage; Portrahan, a curacy; they are contiguous; extent from east to west two miles, from north to south one mile and a half. Episcopally united time immemorial. SWOUDS UNION ;— Consisting of three parishes; viz. Swords, a vicarage ; Kellough, otherwise Killeck, a curacy; Killossory, a curacy; they are contiguous; the estimated extent of the Union from east to west is about three miles, from north to south about two miles. Episcopally united time immemorial. HOLLYWOOD UNION :— Consisting of three parishes; viz. Hollywood, a vicarage; Naul, a vi- carage ; Grailagh, a vicarage; all contiguous; the estimated extent of the Union, from east to west., is about four miles, from north to south, about two miles and a half. Episcopally united time immemorial. KILDROUGHT UNION:— Consisting of two parishes; viz. Kildrought, otherwise Celbridge, a vicarage; Straffan, a vicarage ; contiguous ; the estimated extent of the Union, from east to west, is about five miles, from north to south four miles. Episcopally united time immemorial. BIIAY UNION:— Consisting of three parishes; viz. Bray, a rectory and vicarage ; Connaught, a vicarage; Kilternan, a vicarage; these parishes are all contiguous; the estimated extent of the Union, from east to west, is about five miles, from north to south, three miles. Episcopally united time immemorial. N. B.— A consent of the Archbishop and Incumbent has been given for separating the vicarage of Kilternan from this Union. 241. M
