The Glebe House for Umma is now in progr ss. It has been unavoidably delayed by the death of the Incumbent, in whose time the grant for building it was made. Headford Glebe House, although its completion has not yet been duly certified to the Board, it is very nearly finished ; but as much of the expense of its erection is to be laid a charge upon the successor to the present Incumbent, which must be regulated by the value of the benefice; under the present depressed state of the times, when the Clergy in this diocese receive little or nothing of their lawful income, it would be impossible to certify it to the Board, without very great injury to the present Incumbent. The Union of Headford consists of the followings parishes :— Donaughpatrick - - Kilkiloevy - - - - Killursa - - Kilcoona - Killeahy - - - - Killoner - - Cargin .... These parishes are contiguous to each other; united by act of Council in 1817. Kilmainbeg Glebe House is just finished ; and its completion, it is expected, will very soon be certified to the Board.
