Whereout we are to maintain the walls of both divisions of the citty, four drawbridges, two great stone bridges, and one with five and the other with fourteen arches, twelve gates or posterns in the citty walls, above ten bridges in the liberties, & in the several waies leading to and from the citty at least twelve miles of paved causeway, and since their weare and mills given way to Sir George Preston. We have not above one hundred pounds sterE , p Ann in revenue by houses or lands more than the casual revenue arising by the above schedule. All which we humbly certifye as by yor lopp we are commanded. Dated at Limerick, under the common seale the fourth day of December 1672. Geo: Ingoldesby, Mayor I certify the foregoing to be a true copy of the original. Witness my hand at Bermingham Tower the 18th of June 1822. W. Betkam, Dy Keeper. ( 6.) At an assembly of the mayor, sherr. 8c cittizens of the citty of Limerick, held at the Tholsel of the said citty the first Munday after the feast of Sl Michael tharkangell anno Dni 1673, being the accustomed day for electing of mayor 8cc. of the sd citty, sexto Oct. 1673. William Yorke, esq. elected on the first Munday after Midssmer last by ye new rules & confirmed by his Exclly the Ld Leiut. 8c councell, is this day sworne mayor of this citty for this ensuing yeare. Robert Higgins & Bartholomew Ast, esq. elected by the sd rules Sc confirmed as aforesaid are this day sworne sheriffes of this city 8c county thereof for this ensuing yeare. The R' Reverend Father in God, John Vesey, Lord Bishopp of Limrick, is this day admitted to ye freedome of this citty, 8c elected one of the common counsell 8c is accordingly sworne pursuant to ye new rules. And this assembly doth adjourne till this day 7 night. I certify the above to be a true copy of the original. Witness my hand, at Bermingham Tower, the 18th of June 1822. W. Betham, D* Keeper.
