And in case any merchants or other persons shall complaine unto us of any duties which are or have been illegally exacted from them in any cittie or town corporate within this kingdome, We shall be ready to heare such complaints and to give such releefe thereupon as can be reasonably expected from us. And ordered y « the certificate and schedule hereafter expressed, as the same is prepared by the recr and town cl be in pursuance of the said proclamation, transmitted under the common seale of this corporaion and signed by the mayor, unto Matthew Barry, esq. clerk of the councell at Dublin, by the next post. The Schedule. A particular of the customes and duties taken, receaved, and claymed by the corporation of Limerick to their own use, which they humbly certifye to the most honoWe Arthur Earle of Essex, Lord L4 General and General Governor of Ireland, and the Lords and others of his Majties most honoble privy councell, according to order conceaved at the councell board the 25th of October 1672. The said corporaion doe receave and take the grand custome called the cocquet custome* as well from aliens & strangers as from natives, denizens, and freemen for all native comodities exported by— Outgate Cocquet Customs from Aliens.
