J15 II. Cities, & c.] FOR OFFENCES AGAINST THE GAME LAWS. W ( 6.)— EXETER. There are no persons at present, nor have been at any time since the 17th of May last, in confinement in the Gaol, within the City or County of the City of Exeter, for Offences against the Game Laws. Sheriff's Office, Exeter, 1 st March 1S17. H. M. Ellicombe, Under Sheriff of Exeter. ( 70- ELY. Only one prisoner in the Gaol of this Franchise, for an Offence against the Game Laws, viz. John Nicholas the younger, committed on the 14th of this month for three months, for non- payment of the penalty of ,£. 5. for sporting without being qualified, 011 a con- viction before Sir H. B. Dudley, bart. The above is the only commitment which has taken place within this Franchise, for more than two years, under the Game Laws. Chief Bailiffs Office, Ely, February 25th 1817. H. R. Evans, Deputy Bailiff. ( 8.)— GLOUCESTER CITY. No person is now, or has been, at any time since the 17th of May last, confined in the Gaol of this City, for any Offence against the Game Laws. Gloucester, R. P Wilton, 24th February 1817. Under Sheriff. ( 9.)— HULL. Since the 17th May last, there has not been any Person committed to the Gaol of this Town and County ; nor is there any one at this time in the said Gaol for any Offence against the Game Laws. Mansion- House, Hull, '" V/^' 25th February 1817. Mayor. ( 1 o.)— HAVERFORDWEST. There have not been any Persons confined in the Gaol of this Borough, for Offences against the Game Laws since the 17th May last. Haverfordwest, February 27th, 1817. Thos Mayd. ( 11.)— LICHFIELD. No Persons are now, nor have at any time since the 17th of May last, been in confine- ment in this City, for Offences against the Game Laws. lichfield Stephen Simpson, 28th February' 1817. Town Clerk. ( 12.)— NORWICH. No Person is at present in the said Gaol, nor hath any Person been confined therein since the 17th of May last, for Offences against the Game Laws. Norwich, N. Bolingbroke, 24th February 1817. Sheriff. ( 13.)— NEWCASTLE- UPON- TYNE. An Account of the number of Persons who now are, and who have at any time since the 17th May last, been in confinement in the Gaol of the Town and County of Newcastle- upon- Tyne, for Offences against the Game Laws - - - None.
